But again, dont think im blaming the ref or something. I dont. We could have done something, we didnt. thats it. Spain won, deserved it and is champion. It sucks badly but its just how it is. Now 2010 is just another number to the list; 74 78 2010 We will never forget these numbers, every time we hear them again We are doomed.

And that freakin squid, is really creepy. I feel like driving to his aquarium in germany , taking him out and put him on the bbq with some garlic lol
It might not make you feel better but I believe in science, testing out, getting results and reproducing the results. pseudoscience and that squid.

I suggest you harness the awesome power of Paul. But be careful because absolute power corrupts absolutely.

As a relatively impartial observer, I thought this was one of the most poorly officiated games I've ever been a part of. Several times cards were handed out that were undeserved, including one where the official wasn't even looking at the play, and the Spanish player flopped. There was a no-contact flop by Spain that drew a yellow and a couple of yellows on Spanish players in the first half that shouldn't have been called.

Bottom line is that among closely matched teams, flopping still wins "the beautiful game".

    Congratulations to Spain!!!

It really sucks, damnit. But im not that kind of a person who is going to talk hateful after a loss. So Im writing something here, so you dont think im a bad loser lol. I think both teams were pretty even tonight. It was a hard, freaking nervous game.

Both teams were playing hard, but the ref should have taken it a bit easy with the cards I think. I dont like this ref at all, although he helped the Netherlands a lot tonight too. But the ref doesnt matter, im not blaming him. Its our fault. We could have done it, but we didnt. Simple as that. We had some good chances. Especially the one of Robben all alone on the GK. That one should have just been a goal.

Im already glad we came this far, not in my wildest dreams would i have thought they would play in the final. Its awesome and im glad I got the chance to see and live it. The team did a wonderful job and our coach is awesome. He only lost 2 times with this team since he became coach, If im correct. That's an amazing acomplishment.

Go party Spain!! You deserve it
You are a true sport man.

I saw the game again twice today in a more neutral perspective after all the emotions and I must say it was pretty terrible. Our team was frustrated and scared. They have been so confident and cool all tournament long, this is the only game where they faced that the win wasnt so sure anymore so they got frustrated and angry and started to play bad.

They were very agressive and kicking everywhere, it's a disgrace actually. It didnt even look like football anymore. No fair play, just sliding, tackling, kicking. Disgrace and very ugly. The Dutch team on this tournament played already a type of football which was not really the Dutch way and a beautifull style we all were used of, but it paid off. But yesterday was even more of a different type of football. We have never played like this, shamefull.

Anyway, except for the disgrace yesterday, I have enjoyed the games and the success of this team. Only 2 losses since van Marwijk became head coach!! I hope he stays the coach but I also hope they will go back to the old beautifull style of Dutch football. The style the Germans and the Spanish did play this tournaments and we, the nation who are known for that style, didnt.
