I used to live close by one growing up... ohhh Sunday mornings were the best.
Dayum! They had fallen off my radar for awhile. Got a wild hair and stopped in today for a fajita/pico/guac.

Man, I haven't been to Rolando's in years.
Rolando's a definite SA staple. The one of hildebrand is the only one I've been to. They're all a little different. Don't recall is that's the #1 place. It may be cuz rolando was always there. I remember when I took a friend of mine from out of town there and he ordered two. I kept my mouth shut.

I got the beef. It wasn't as good as my flash grilled fajitas but it was pretty good.

If you're scared, then get a dog. Seriously, it's not too bad of a neighborhood. I took the MTA out there a couple of times and never had a problem, as well as driving out there at night.
Naw I'm not scared, but more cautious after a King Taco visit once nearly left us in the path of peril. Ain't no burrito worth gettin' mistakened for. But you're right, it isn't in that bad of an area, just a tad bit further from Long Beach than I would like to traverse.

. Even a taco with those dimensions could be pretty scary.
