Splitter = Petro ?
Sorry, thought this deserved it's own thread. If true, quite the steal for the Spurs.

Per old man Monroe, Splitter's deal is for three years and $10 million total. #spurs

WOW what a steal!
1) brilliant business!
BUT
2) less than Bonner = UH-OH.......
If that's true, then HOLY .
If true, than shopping season is not done yet.
so what happens to the rest of the MLE ?
We have money for a SF.
Interesting to see that third year. That's when Blair and Hill expires right?
Come on, at least give him another million so he's getting better than that
I kinda feel bad for Tiago, but I'm glad he did it... He's already in the Spurs spirit of taking one for the team I guess. Let's hope we can add somebody useful with the money he left us.
it, use the rest on James Jones.
Wow...Tiago must've REALLY wanted to come to the Spurs to end up here for such a bargain.
Spurs now have roughly half the MLE left to spend on another player right?
Why would he do that? There has to be other incentives for him to play for less.
holy ...this gives us room to sign someone else?
Wow!
Damn! That's really going to help us if we end up signing someone else.
can the MLE and LLE be combined?
wow i didnt think a scola type deal would be realistic in todays NBA but that is GREAT news if true.
Oh man, this makes the Bonner deal look even worse. Was Bonner really worth that on the free market (outside of the Spurs)?
If that's true, it's incredible news. Not only would they be able to use the remainder of the MLE to beat an LLE salary, but they could also offer a contract longer than 2 years.
If it's true Spurs have still $2.7M left on their MLE. They could go after a good SF with that money. They could also spend $500K to ink Ryan Richards to a 3 years deal
