How would that be different than what any star has done over time? That's the name of the game--improve on the previous year. That's the only way to keep your team at a premium level.
Well he was injured when he was on the Warriors. The few games he played on the Suns during the 2009 season before he was traded he looked absolutely done. His defense was , his shot was getting no lift, he looked like he hated being on the court. A lot had to do with how much he hated playing for Porter and his body was well beyond 30 MPG capability.
Just my opinion but he should not be getting consistent minutes given how much 3 seasons under D'antoni playing 35+ MPG set him back. If they sign him as a spot player who got to play 10-15 minutes here and there it might work, but LA should not be signing him as a rotation player.
