    Who really knows why AlJeff isn't in a Mavs uniform. Cuban has always been so free spending and unworried about profits or anything else except winning, it intrigues me to think he passed on Jefferson over contract issues.

    They were ing around for a week because they thought they were the only suitors, while chasing the CP3 pipe dream. Utah basically showed up and in two hours Al was gone, and Cubes and Donnie were left with their s hanging.

    It was extensively discussed in this NBA forum last night when it all happened.
    Dallas was finally ready to make the trade, but Utah simply had a better offer.
