Juwan Howard...Zydrunas Ilgauskas...these guys used to be really good but, honestly, do they have anything left in the tank?

Jul 13, 2010 - Juwan Howard is -- finally -- on the verge of joining the Miami Heat. According to Ira Winderman of the Miami Sun-Sentinel, the 37-year old Howard is expected to come to terms with the Heat on a minimum-salary deal as Miami continues to try to fill out its mostly barren roster.
Juwan Howard...Zydrunas Ilgauskas...these guys used to be really good but, honestly, do they have anything left in the tank?
they are bench fodder to play limited minutes.
lol big z, juwan howard, mario chalmers, get alonzo back too
Juwan was solid last year.. great pickup for the heat, blazers will miss him.
Shouldn't the Heat start signing players that are going to play some minutes? There are only like 6 guys on their roster.
This guy gives Captain Obvious a run for his money.
Lakers bench.
6 guys??
LeBron, Wade, Bosh, Chalmers, Big Z, Udonis Haslem, Mike Miller, Juwan Howard
Glen Rice might be available
it's funny that this dude is the last remaining baller from the Fab Five
Lamar Odom, Steve Blake and Raja Bell (when accepts tomorrow) is already better then any of Miami's bench players.

Juwan looked like he still had something to contribute in the playoffs against Phoenix. Good pickup for Miami. Between anthony, Haslem Bosh and Howard, all they need now is a true starting C.
Haslem = Lamar Odom
Miller > Steve Blake
Raja Bell is not a part of the Lakers. Raja Bell is on record saying that he wants to play for Miami.
We'll see who gets him.
Raja Bell is a FIU alumni and has most of his family down here.
Don't count your chickens just yet![]()
I think that's a reach
miamheati has been reaching all week.
so james, wade, bosh are going to play 40 minutes a game
cool they will be tired by the time playoffs get there
if they have a guranteed playoff spot come last 2 weeks of season I bet they will get major rest for the playoffs.
Howard really surprised me last year, I didn't know he had that much left in the tank..he was good defensively and made his mid-range jump shot consistently..with Big Z and Howard, they have some good veteran depth off the bench for situational purposes..
They still need a legit C, but if they don't get one, at least they have a lot of depth up front for foul purposes..
if they want home court against in the finals they are going to have to win 55-60 games
it is also going to take time to gel
Iverson and McGrady?
What are you trying to do? Put a voodoo hex on the Heat's le?![]()
Iverson is cancer, but if there's any place McGrady would STFU and coast, it would be Miami.
