Is this good for the Efrain's development? I heard that the Scottish league is equivalent to the MLS.

Forlan was pure garbage with Man U, mostly cuz he wanted to. ty at ude there, glad we got rid of him, just wish it could've been done earlier.

Also, Ronaldinho is gone from Milan to join Flamengo, and Tottenham are "seriously interested" in L.Fabiano

lol that's nothing to do with backstabbing, it's loyalty to my team, just as I would call out Splitter or a fellow SA like Manu if they weren't performing for the Spurs. You can't deny Forlan's stay there wasn't pure disappointment

this is one of the winless posts you have ever done... He won more than 10 games for them in three years which without being exceptional, it's DEFINITIVELY NOT A FAIL.

Even more so, one of his goals was chosen in one of the best 50 in the history of the club and it was top 20. It was a 40 meter strike to defeat classic rival Liverpool on loss time 1-0. That goal only, made him be loved by ManU fans forever... he missed a lot and had up and downs by WAY far from either being a bust or a fail

I would prefer that he play in the Spanish league but if gets to play in the CL with Celtic then he could get valuable experience.

Man, idk what Man U fans you've been talking to that are in love with Forlan forever. Most pretty much agree that he was a disapointment. The guy comes here after scoring 40 - 91 for Independiente, then only goes on to score 17 - 95 for Man U? To add insult to injury, he then nets a .52 clip in games with his next two clubs over the next 5 years. that.

It's without a doubt he scored important goals for us, but that doesn't make up for the lack of performance he had with the expectations coming in. It didn't really help his case either that Ruud was destroying teams beside him.

Not saying he's a bad player, overall he's clearly an excellent talent, but it's pretty much generally agreed that he was a flop at Old Trafford

so 17-95 playing the last ten minutes of the game on 80 of those is not a bad average and again FAR from bust or fail

No no, Balotelli is something special, his ty at ude is his problem. When people boo him at San Siro it's because of his at ude, and in turn he pulls the race card. Inter will get rid of this guy for the better, much like Ibrahimovic last year.

Well he has 3 offers on the table: Celtic, Newcastle, and Mallorca. Celtic have the best chance of being in the Champions League and are overall the better team. So it's def. a good move for him and he should get valuable experience and exposure. Just hope he can adapt.

Only in the sense that it gets him exposure in the Champions League...

cause otherwise FC América (Efraín's current club) > Celtic FC....

WAT? His current club is Pumas..
He won't get any exposure staying in the Mexican league. Most if not all Mexican players that are currently in Europe are there because of how they performed with the Mexican National team not their clubs. Playing for Celtic > staying in Mexico. He can use Celtic as a stepping stone to a bigger club.

Big Clubs they beat the last 10 years:
