    Spurs fans wanted Romain Sato and there was several threads about it. Well he signed a 3 year contract with Olympiacos to replace Josh Childress.

    And since Spurs fans was having a big debate about how he can play or not because is only 6-2 or 6-3 and because NBA claims they measure him at this height and draftexpress says this........

    Olympiacos managers wanted to measure him before he could sign. He was measured as 1.97 meters in shoes. This means in shoes (as NBA considers and lists height) that he is about 6-5 1/2 tall in shoes.

    So NBA measurement and draftexpress is a lie. Just in case you wondered. Anyway not such a good signing for Olympiacos. He is Ok for regular season but not for playoffs. Just another player like Kleiza and Childress that is only good in regular season and cannot do anything in higher level of the playoffs.

    Still he will cost less than 1/3 of what Childress cost and he is better than Childress is.

    It is said Dallas Mavs want Sato also but do not offer enough money as Olympiacos.

    I don't recall many Spurs fans drooling over a Sato-signing this Summer. The Spurs had him before. Why bring him back again? Who cares about him?
