Maybe this time next year I won't be smelling skunk.

Maybe this time next year I won't be smelling skunk.
Oh give me a ing break, if the Spurs had signed Lebron James and Chris Bosh Pop and RC would have been drinking that Pop wine and running around naked throwing cascarones at each other.
The "We're so better than everyone else" gets old after a while. We didn't celebrate like we'd signed Lebron James because we didn't sign Lebron James, we signed Splitter.
wrong
wrong againThe "We're so better than everyone else" gets old after a while. We didn't celebrate like we'd signed Lebron James because we didn't sign Lebron James, we signed Splitter.
If I'm wrong then these guys don't know what they're doing. You don't sell the steak you sell the sizzle, it was tremendously smart of Miami to do things the way they did, they sold more tickets faster than anyone else ever has, and at the end of the day this business is about making money and winning.
By the way, great ing argument.
you are wrong because Pop and R.C. are not in the business of selling tickets. They are in the business of running a winning successful organization.
that is why you are wrong.
So that's why they signed Splitter instead of Lebron James? It's not because they had no chance of getting Lebron James, they got Splitter because they thought he'd help them win more than Lebron would? Are you really that in stupid?
An occasional skunker withstanding.
tee, hee.
Pop doesn't sign players that have "Chosen 1" tattoo'd on their back and a King James on their chest.
Simple as that.
Plus, LeBron's not a winner.
Most would probably think you're joking, but I wouldn't put it past a spurfan to be completely serious about wanting Splitter over LeBron.
So if Lebron wanted to go to San Antonio you honestly believe Popovich wouldn't want him? God damn you fat s are stupid.
Spurs offseason > Mavs and Suns' combined
lol Tyson Chandler
lol Hedo Turkoglu
lol dust chip
lol Al Jefferson
lol Cuban
lol Amare
lol Sarver
lol Spurs WCF
lol Suns and Mavs first round exits
We don't need luck, we'll have two talented 7 footers playing at the same time.
there's somewhat of a litany of things the Spurs have to accomplish in terms of a couple more aquisitions, players from last year improving, and health that are going to decide whether or not the Spurs will contend down the road next year.
Spurs have never really been "respected" by the media, so the fact that they are being counted out doesn't mean anything. other than '99 (and that's debateable) they weren't favored to win the championship going into their championship seasons.
^You never confirmed your station by repeating, Ming. Your chronological failure in this discipline has rightfully diluted your legacy.
P.S., The skunker the Suns laid on ya didn't help either.
This is a very good thing for SA. I think they quietly have a shot of contending one more time. They will match up better with LA with all that size.
I think Splitter not coming these past 2 years was a huge blow. Better late than never.
Those were some badass hookshots from 5 feet away from the basket![]()
no one gives a about repeating. there are no rewards for it.
The Spurs ceiling is 5th seed with a 1st/2nd round exit, anyone who thinks otherwise is beyond re ed
Horse .
Don't brazen it out, Ming. Just admit your shortcomings. Yer a one hit wonder, 4 separate times.
It's adorable.
Do you see any Suns fans making threads about our "Quiet, but significant" off season that involved chosing Hedo Turkoglu over Lebron James?
it's four seperate orgasms and one big one. take your pick. i don't care about anything that isn't an accolade. if it's not an accolade, it's not worth giving a about.
