I think the odds are against GSP beating Silva yes but the one area Silva is not great in Wrestling is GSP's best weapon. Put it this way if Sonnen has sucess with wrestling in this fight so can GSP and GSP is way more well rounded than Sonnen. Plus Silva seems more interested in ing around in the cage then fighting these days.

Odds are Silva would KO GSP because his striking is so good but GSP would have a shot with wrestling, pace and top control..

I agree, but im not sure how GSP could finish. Not by sub, it would have to be GnP stoppage. Anderson had Hendo on top of him and Dan couldnt do much. And Silva's cardio is off the charts as well. I bet we see this fight in the next year and a half. Probably will be the biggest and most hyped fight in MMA history..

GSP can't finish Silva IMO if he wins it has to be a decision. And as much as i love the guy, GSP better take some more chances in his next fight with Koscheck. Let it go more and stop playing it safe so much..

Andersons cardio is su ious.

It looked like he was tired fighting against Maia in later rounds and the pace was not that high.

Sonnen is the guy who is pushing the pace, but that's dangerous when you fighting Silva in the first rounds.

Cote had success against Silva, standing outside and striking.

How great did Silva's striking look tonight? Not very good at all.

Why? The threat of the TD is why. When he can set his feet and not have to worry about being TD he can put on a clinic like he did with Forrest. When he is worried about the TD his striking is not that special. IT's still great but not all world great.. Chael hit Silva hard with numerous punches tonight.. Had him rocked even once..
