The Lakers are the team of the decade, but 2010 has nothing to do with it, obviously..
On the Laker side: the decade was 2000-2009 So LA had more les!
On the Spur side: No the decade is 2001-2010 so the teams are tied! and SA was more consistent
Now that LA won in 2010 too, is the debate indisputably won by LA?

I said the decade was 2000-2009. So I am a Laker fan? Stop generalizing.
Spurs are the undisputed team of the decade which does not imclude 2010 but the Lakers were a close 2nd. when magazines like ESPN and Sports Illustrated name it then its official. However Kobe is the best player of the decade and rightfully so; he's been just a slight more dominant than Duncan..
To be fair, it's a tie...
Lakers and Spurs both dominated this decade. Many les, great games, Lakers with more les, Spurs most consistent team. But actually, who cares, thx to the Lakers for a great decade, a great rivalry and kudos to your accomplishments.

It's all about Miami this decade...even ass Kevin Durant 35^^ knows it. He's all up in the Miami Heat bandwagon and right fully so since the OKC sucks balls.

Ugh, team of the decade is the LA Lakers if you only look at les. The Spurs have a very good regular season record over that period though.. they have an excellent record since drafting Mr. Duncan in fact.

In the decade of 1999-2008, Spurs is the best.
In the decade of 2000-2009, Lakers is the best.
likewise.....i liked the spurs game back then they were the only other team in the west that didn't play ncaa type basketball like suns...kings...mavs...etc..

THE NBA is only as good as its last decade!!! people are just now pulling MJ's outa their mouths...that was the 90's so please...
Lakers have 4 to the Spurs 3 as far as les are concerned from 2000-2009. Then again, the Spurs didn't miss the playoffs unlike the Lakers. IMHO, I'd pick the Lakers as the best team from 200-2009 (because les outweigh everything) and the Spurs the second best team.
