WAT? His current club is Pumas..
He won't get any exposure staying in the Mexican league. Most if not all Mexican players that are currently in Europe are there because of how they performed with the Mexican National team not their clubs. Playing for Celtic > staying in Mexico. He can use Celtic as a stepping stone to a bigger club.

Big Clubs they beat the last 10 years:
That's right... He played for Pumas FC...

Nevertheless, the exposure I was talking about was exposure in the Champions League... nobody cares about the Scottish League....

That's wrong.. First he plays for FC AMERICA? and now Pumas FC? Get your facts strait hommie.
He played for Pumas UNAM. Pumas FC is some third division team in america..
Anyways, So you want him to stay in the Mexican league?? Nobody cares about the Mexican league besides Mexicans.
And Club America are they haven't won since 2005. Celtic on the other hand are a well respect team throughout Europe not just Scotland.
Also one of the most popular clubs world wide.

My bad.... the FC (Football Club) suffix just stayed when I copied the post...

My dad was a Pumas fan back when Hugo, Cabinho and Negrete were players there...

Anyway, I think you are grossly misrepresenting my comments.... Efrain will likely get plenty of minutes in Celtic and exposure in the CL (a fact I said was a good thing for him... such a huge positive it outweighs the fact that the Scottish league as a whole is an inferior brand of football)... I mean other than Rangers and Celtic the league is subpar... That said, it's great that he's moving out.

Juarez is a ing bull, I have no doubts that he'll do well with Celtic...tough minded and runs the entire 90 minutes. He's like a Gatusso type player in his prime. Not sure if he'll be able to use it as a stepping stone for a bigger club though. I think he's good enough to play for a bigger club but he's Mexican. Lets be honest if Salcido was Argentinian or Brasilian-born he'd be in a big club right now after the way he's played in WCs and at PSV especially his first few years. Chicharito wouldve gotten sold for $20 mill to Man U. There's exceptions like Marquez but for the most part alot of Mexicans are overlooked. Sucks but thats the way it is.

Im more worried about Barrera, not sure how well he'll do in the Premier League.

Nery needs to get his head out of his ass, he's such a narcissistic bas . Dude dominated in Copa America, looked like one of the best players in the tournament and like he would be a big part of Mexico's future...was sold for TWENTY ing NINE MILLION dollars by Olympiakos and than went down hill because of his horrible at ude.

Dude has world class talent tbh, too bad he's a punk ass .

Yeah in Uruguay we have an even worse perception of him because of his choice to play for Mexico

Well I'm glad Efrain and Barrera finally got picked up...

I'm more excited for Barrera, I think he will make more of an impact than Chicharito.

    He's vastly underrated.

Yeah, I doubt Javier Hernandez will get meaningful minutes on a star-studded ManU squad....

Yeah, I guess you could say that was a bad comparison?

The bad thing about Chicharito and Vela making big teams like Arsenal and ManU, is the fact that they're so stacked they won't be able to develop and become the stars they can be. Barrera on the other hand, won't have the spotlight as much and will have the time to improve.

i've looked on many websites with no mention of anything. But, does anyone think he's even match fit? I feel like he hasn't done since he left olympiacos (which was obviously his biggest mistake) and Copa America 07

Eduardo moves from EPL to Ukraine

OFFICIAL: Arsenal Striker Eduardo Completes Move To Shakhtar Donetsk On Four-Year Deal
    By Matt Monaghan

Arsenal striker Eduardo has completed his move to Shakhtar Donetsk on a four-year contract, the Ukrainian club has announced.

Eduardo, 27, has passed a medical and agreed a reported contract of £50,000 a week. Despite struggling to hit top form since his horrific leg break in 2008, the Ukrainian Premier League champions have beaten off interest from Aston Villa, Valencia and Olympique Lyon to wrap up a deal believed to be worth £7.5 million.

A statement on their official website read: "Today on 21 July, FC Shakhtar have signed Brazilian-born Croatian forward Eduardo Da Silva from Arsenal on a four-year contract which has been anticipated by all the international media.

"All the details were agreed tonight at Donbas Arena in Donetsk.

"Within the nearest time the newcomer will be introduced to Ukrainian media representatives as well as to the Pitmen fans."

The Croatia international centre forward had endured a season to forget after scoring just twice in 24 top flight appearances. With Marouane Chamakh brought in from Bordeaux, he has sought a fresh start in Eastern Europe.

The Milan president already said that Ronaldinho will be at AC Milan until he retires, so his move is unlikely. Didn't know about the Rafa one either, don't know if I like it since Juventus wanted him
