Is it David Robinson? It's David Robinson, right?
A Spur is among the top five rebounders in NBA playoff history and he is joined by the four greatest centers to ever play the game. These men have set the playoff rebounding bar so high that this list will probably remain the same for years to come. Can anyone guess which Spur makes the list?

Grandpappy Duncan?
Guiseppe that is correct. Duncan is number five on the list and there is so much distance between him and the active players that can possibly catch him that it is actually possible that no one else will crack the top five.

Just to give an idea about that, here is the top 5 for active players:
1) Shaq - 2508
2) Duncan - 2114
3) Ben Wallace - 1454
4) Dirk - 1118
5) Sheed - 1099
...
12) Dwight Howard - 725
...
18) LeBron - 598
I listed Dwight Howard because his current rpg in the playoff is over Duncan's (14.22 vs 12.44) so Howard is about the only guy who might catch up with Duncan at this stage assuming he has a long enough career in the playoffs.
Is it possible for LeBron to reach #1 if he wins 8 rings ?

Once the 1966 Texas Western team won a championship and all NBA teams started drafting black players which led to a league that wasn't predominantly white, the Celtics' dynasty ended, and Wilt stopped averaging 20+ PPG. Coincidence? I think not
I think Russel is ridiculously overrated too...but you are aware that after 1966 the Celtics won 2 of the next 3 les right? A better indicator is TR%... or total rebounds a player will grab as a percentage of overall misses. Using raw numbers like this guy, makes Wilt's and Russell's numbers heavily inflated.

3. Dennis Rodman - 20.50%
4. Moses Malone - 19.41%
5. Carlos Boozer - 19.13%
10. Tim Duncan - 18.22%
13. Shaquille O'Neal - 18.01%

But of course... longevity should count for something so the OP's list is still a good one to look at.

Russell isn't on the list because the TR% stat doesn't take any season before 1970-1971 into account. Russell retired in 1969.
Not looking at stats, I say Dennis Rodman. The guy's 6-6, yet he's number 3 in that list. Never seen anyone rebounding like him...
