The Knicks are number 1, that shows how relevant that list is.
I like the character of the Rockets players, depth of their talent and amount of quality assets they've ac ulated, but ultimately, even if Yao were regain his previous form, they'd still lack a true go-to option for a championship caliber team.
Martin and Brooks are both very good scorers, no question, but they're not good enough to be the guy if you're trying to win a championship. Iguodala, even though he'd be a good fit and make this team a possible conference finals contender if everything went right, he wouldn't make them a true le contender either.
If and when Paul becomes available, there's perhaps no team better positioned to pounce than the Rockets. They need someone, if not quite the caliber of Paul, then a cut below.
For now, there's a logjam at the big positions. Patterson may not be in the rotation, Hill is buried and Anderson and Jeffries aren't even going to be active. Something's got to give with the Rockets at PF and the Trail Blazers at SG.

Well you're crying like a over another team that has nothing to do with our reliance on Yao
Listen you less wonder, I was talking to him about his blockbuster trade comment. Now run along to do your book report for summer English tutorial............move the on............
Oh you're one of those (Yaofan)
roxfan probably thinks he's the coolest mother er around because he knows how to google images of half naked girls. prahps on that one bro!
We all know Roxfan was 4 years old when the Rockets won
Ariza plus Hill and Jeffries for Iguodola is a ing re ed trade. Philly is amazingly stupid if they do that.
Too much money for him...hopefully the last year is a team option or partially guaranteed.
Well, someone needs a one sided trade other than the Lakers in the West
Rocket boys gettin' their optimism on.
You're all so adorable I could just squeeze ya's!
Nope, not a Yao only fan. I know we have most of our eggs in the Yao basket. It will either work or we're ed.

lol roxfans...remember really good all the crybabies on clutchfans every season Yao and/or McLady went down, talking and crying about all the "bad luck"
You forgot to put "No "
That's the coolest 23rd post I've ever read in my whole ing life.........![]()
that's a good one, I had a driver's license and a sexy girlfriend![]()
The amount of Rocket hate in this site is incredible. Your just mad that all your teams and fan bases, with exception of the san antonio, suck s and cant win championship. At least we got two.
Solid signing for Rockets, but 5 million almost the whole MLE is a bit much don't you think, and for 3 years? If Yao goes down he is a good insurance, but the Rockets wont get anywhere with Miller as their starting center, if I were a Rockets fan I would much rather a young center with alot of potential backup Yao instead of Miller.
u mad brah?
Damn good point. I'll bet it's a lot better to have 15 year old championships to look back on when your team sucks![]()
Brad Miller is the final piece to a seventh seed, es!
