Because Villanueva and Gordon's team won half as many games as Nash and Hill's team. Sorry, I know this might be hard to come to grips with, but people would rather watch Steve Nash in a barn burner than watch Ben Gordon shoot his team out of games.
I don't think the Pistons should've had any games last season. No one deserves to watch that . This isn't about the Pistons. It's about maxing out the games for 3 seasons, and not letting them fall off the radar when they didn't make the postseason last year. It's about the Suns.

See the "it's not" as in, "It's not worth watching." I was hope you were being sarcastic.

Because I watch the televised games and I don't have League Pass. I'm tired of watching a bunch of has-beens that have no shot at winning anything, but everyone seems to suck up to. They suck.

While Nash and Hill are both has beens, Ben Gordon is a never was and never will be.

The Suns made the conference finals. The two teams that made the finals both had 25 nationally televised games (7 more than Phoenix). The other team that made the conference finals had 24 nationally televised games (6 more than Phoenix. There were 3 teams (Cleveland, Denver and San Antonio) that got eliminated earlier than Phoenix and got more air time. Why is the Suns getting 18 nationally televised games such a disgraceful tragedy?

I never said I wanted to see the Pistons on National Television. You need to read what is said and not look at my profile. If I took cheap shots like you I'd just ask how Amar'e Stoudemire was doing? I mean, look at who he dumped you for.

Who should have had more national air time than Phoenix last year that didn't already? The Cavs, Celtics, Lakers, Nuggets, Magic, and Spurs already had more national air time. I'm curious about which teams were cheated in national air time and should have had more than the Suns.

    The three seasons of 37

Can you provide a link to this 37 thing? I don't remember any season where nearly half of Phoenix's games were on national TV.

o--they MISSED THE PLAYOFFS THE YEAR BEFORE AND THEY WERE HEALTHY! DID THE 2006 TIMBERWOLVES GET TREATED THAT WAY?!

Bucks, Thunder to name two off the top-of-my-head. Charlotte also is another good case. These teams should be rewarded later in the season for overachieving in the first half.

The 2006 Timberwolves won 33 games and missed the playoffs for two consecutive years. You're comparing them to a team that won 46 games and prior to that had always been a write in for a 50+ win season? Makes tons of sense.

This is priceless. You're claiming the Suns shouldn't have gotten 18 games because they missed the playoffs in 2009, and then you say three teams should have gotten more games when not only did those 3 teams miss the playoffs in 2009 they didn't even sniff the playoffs

So just to clarify, a 54 win team that made the conference finals shoulda gotten less national airtime than a 46 win team that lost in the 1st round, a 50 win team that lost in the 1st round, and a 44 win team that lost in the 1st round. Is that what you're saying?

It's counting NBA TV as well. 25 is the maximum for the ESPN/TURNER games.

    Check this out:

The 2009-10 NBA national TV schedule features 25 appearances by the Lakers, Celtics and Cavaliers, 24 by the Magic, and 15 or more appearances by the Nuggets (22), Spurs (20), Suns (18) and Blazers (17).

Some oddities on the schedule: the Suns, who missed the playoffs last year, will have the 7th-most national television appearances of any NBA team, topping playoff teams like the Blazers, Mavericks, Hornets and Jazz. The Warriors and Wizards, neither of whom made the playoffs last year, have more appearances than the Hawks, who made the second round.
    http://www.sportsmediawatch.net/2009...-schedule.html

The NBA released it's national television schedule, filled with most of the usual suspects.
As expected, the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers will be on the maximum number of times (25), including a Christmas afternoon showdown in LA. Joining last season's NBA finalist, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Phoenix Suns are also slotted in for 25 games.

The Cavs make sense for obvious reasons, or reason, but Phoenix is a little surprising. I guess is will serve as a farewell, impending retirement tour for Shaq and Steve Nash.

I am saying that the schedulers (unless the time-travel or the games are fixed) didn't know that the Suns would contend this year. They should've been left off the schedule, and added back on like a Milwaukee or Oklahoma City as they started to do well. Those teams deserve to be recognized for overachieving. The Suns WERE ALREADY ON THE SCHEDULE!!

I just want to see the Cavs game in Cleveland. Imagine last years christmas game but way more crazy.
I am almost wiliing to record that game if fr whatever reason I can't watch it. But I wouldn't put it past Lebron to miss that game due to his mysterious elbow injury.

OK, so at first you were whining about how many national TV games Phoenix got all together. Now you're whining about the manner in which they were given nationally televised games. Which one is it?

I asked for a link to confirm your claim that Phoenix had 3 consecutive seasons of 37 nationally televised games. What the is so hard about providing that link if it's true?

I assume the other [non-Lebron] owners will have some input. Lakers yes, Cleveland[at Cleveland] yes. Toronto- no one cares.
After the infatuation wears off, the 95% of the fans who don't root for the Heat will want to see their home teams. I'm sure the league will over-televise Heat games. If the games are rollovers, viewers will lose interest. Do I really want to spend time watching as the Magi rest in the 4th quarter? If the Heat aren't that good viewers will watch to see them lose. Pat Riley has gotten what he prayed for! Enough said.

I would think that the Heat will be on national tv at least once a week during the regular season.
