Who do you think is a better basketball player? I went through all the old threads and I don't believe this topic has been covered before.

LeBron - more consistent and productive in the regular season.
Kobe - more clutch in the playoffs.
Lebron >>>> Kobe today
only a fool would disagree
Why? He's more of a postseason assassin than LeBron.
I hate Kobe but LeBron's a pussy, so this time I'm for Kobe.
LeBron might have had one of his own by now if he hadn't quit on his team after Delonte West rode his mom like a thoroughbred.
The reputation Kobe has somehow garnered as an all time great/clutch playoff performer is way overblown. As evidence by showing his FT% instead of FG% after game 7.
Well, let's take their worst playoff moments as a #1 option.
Kobe - his team down by 21 points early in the third quarter of a Game 7 against Phoenix, he stops shooting in a game that they were highly unlikely to win anyway.
LeBron - his team tied 2-2 in a best of seven series against Boston, he quits on his team from the opening tip.
Now, their best moments as a #1 option;
Kobe - closes out the Magic on their floor with 30, 6 and 6 on 44% shooting. Performed so well that the Lakers didn't need last-second heroics.
Bron - Scores his team's last 25 points in Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals against Detroit Pistons. The Cavs would go on to get dismantled by the Spurs in the Finals.
Kobe got to play with dominant bigs in Shaq and Gasol and LeBron didn't. But by the same token, I'm tired of hearing that LeBron's supporting cast in Cleveland was absolute garbage. No, it wasn't. Kobe could've won a le as a member of the 2010 Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron never got a #2 option to play with in Cleveland, but like Dirk in Dallas, he had several good players put around him, guys that would've run through a brick wall for him. And in return, he laid down on them.
no he wouldnt
not a fan of both
both sucks to be honest
why no 3rd option nobody gives a ?
Continuing this trend, I'll say Kobe gets rusty piped in 2007 as a Cleveland Cavalier and the NBA Finals aren't even remotely in the picture.
I wonder if that had anything to do with Gasol's 14 and 15 with Odom's 17 and 10.
Please.
eppe, gettin' his posts on.
And I'll say Kobe would've at least tried in Game 5 against Boston. Nor would he have gone crying into the open and loving arms of Dwyane Wade after the season was over.
"Awww, is my Bronny bear sad? Awww, poor Bronny bear, here, come to South Beach, let Daddy Dwyane make it all better..."

No, he would've cried to every media outlet he could and tell them Bynum sucks and he wants to be traded instead. But people tend to forget that sort of thing when he acquires a top 10 player and shoots himself to a 6-24 championship.
We can at least agree that he would've never consented to the beta move of going to another team to be their #2.
It's a dumb thread, Greg. It's like that dumb 121-61 thingy you guys ruminate over.
