Cool Story Bro. Can't wait to see Carlisle not play him and Roddy.
you crazy spurs you have done it again. You gave away another great big man before he hits his prime. Of course I am talking about Ian Mahinmi.
He beasted his last summer league game. Shut down Cousins by getting into his face and intimidating the young fella. He also made some nice offensive plays. Combine him with DoJo who was called " one of the biggest revelations" of the SL and named to the All-Tournament team and my humble French Jesus self and its safe to say we staaaked.
Ill bump this thread after every good game Ian has.

to be fair... i'm sure you look like a in' complete dumbass and i'm sure i'm not far off with my assumptions. dumbass!
it makes you wonder especially when you're name here is shastafarian and you're probably some white dude who thinks taking on "farian" as if branching from "rasta" makes you cool. nope, just makes you a in' dumbass which you are regardless of the name you signed up with. dumbass!
by the way, you have to be a dumbass or illiterate considering everyone has stated i have long hair and yet looking at a picture where only 2 dudes in it have long hair you go and pick on the one of the dudes with short red hair. nothing else to call you except a dumbass. dumbass!
that's where you're wrong... and completely clueless as well as ignorant and just a complete dumb . good luck in the future with your halfass assumptions of me. now go back to being unoriginal with the rest of your squad.
i wish i could take a gun and shoot you all inbetween the in' eyes... would do this world justice with all you pathetic losers done with.
Do you have calf tats too?
Ian has some interesting skills but he's not talented enough to be a starter. He still hasn't learned how to play without fouling and his handles are like a cross between Malik Rose and some random white guy. Best case scenario is he becomes a defensive specialist who plays at most 20 MPG.
What are all these quotes from?
Thats what i hope from him down the line. Hopefully the Mavs can develop him in the same they did Diop who was actually decent before he got lazy as .
I just don't see how Carlisle will develop him when he'll be playing behind Brenda and Tyson. That is of course assuming Tyson doesn't get hurt yet again.
Ian has a good offensive game. Already better than Diop offensively by a mile.
Ian won't ever be Diop. He's sorta the anti-Diop. He averages way too many fouls for his blocks/interior D in general, tbh.
He's definitely got some skill offensively though. I don't care that he's gone, but it is classic Spurs/Pop waste of time to simply never play an athletic big man who coulda done well in spurts against any team simply because he's foul prone and a little dumb.
I don't think Ian is dumb at all. I also think he can definitely adjust to the game defensively. He was an anchor in the D-League. It just takes minutes to adjust to the pace/speed/size/skill at the NBA level.
He has decent post moves but he has to get the ball too deep since he has no handles. That's why he needs playing time to help develop. Something he's not gonna get in Dallas.
Dude never played except in bull time last season, and still averaged 7.0 f/p36. Fouling at his ungodly rates usually has to do with an average BBiq, IMO. Especially since he is actually quite athletic.
Nah, it is just a respect thing and and excitability thing.
I seriously hope he works out for the Mavs. That way the upstairs know-it-alls will finally STFU.
To be better than Diop offensively, the only thing required is to be able to execute a fundamental layup.
