Still can't figure out who's worse - Colangelo or Kahn? Maybe it's because it's already been a while since Isiah was a GM, but my estimation of his abilities has surprisingly grown for some odd reason.

Wait, don't the Raptors have that huge TPE from the Bosh sign and trade?
even if they had it TE, they can't use it for a S&T when Magic don't have cap space or rights to sign him in the first place.

Lets be fair to Isiah Thomas here. He had the right mindset to go after stars and players with huge potential, just that the stars he got are either crazy (Marbury) or lazy and became fat (Eddy Curry). When he got there, he was dealt with a worse situation than when he left. It was an improvement. Sure he might have sucked, but he was really good at drafting players (David Lee, Wilson Chandler). The problem was that he sucked at trading and had no team philosophy.

I think Kahn has set a new benchmark for epic fail. Drafted Flynn at 6 last year, made bad trades, sending Al Jefferson away because of Milicic. Colangelo also set a benchmark for overpaying players because no one wants to go to Toronto. He then signed a lot of overseas players because they are more open to going to Toronto. He had a team philosophy but he built that philosophy around the wrong guy.

Barnes' deal with TOR fell through, but won't matter to #spurs. They weren't among the teams chasing him, which I always found odd.

What's funny is that up here in Toronto, tons of Raptor fans are saying Colengelo is still a great GM due to his "heist" of a deal with the Hedo for Barbosa trade. They also seem to feel that building around Demar Derozan is the way to go.

$20 says he will leave during FA like most players the Raptors try to keep for the long term.
I recently read talkbacks on TSN and Sportsnet's website, and a lot of fans want Colangelo's head

If this is McDonald's inside info, expect Spurs to announce presser for Matt Barnes signing by the end of the day.

    Barnes Leaning Towards Contender

Free-agent forward Matt Barnes is leaning towards signing with a contender, according to sources.

Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer writes that Barnes could make more money with a team like the Cavaliers, but could opt for less to play for a championship.

I hope Barnes considers the Spurs a contender
