let's not go that far, tbh. Congratulations is ecstasy.

I went through a stretch a few years ago where Animals just contstantly looped on my ipod.
If somebody forced me to listen to one of the "Big 4," I'd listen to Metallica. I've heard Kill Em All through the Black Album.
Good call on not listening to Bob Dylan, though![]()
IM went that far.
Cool story, nevermind.
cool insult, La Roux>MGMT
AgreedCertainly better than anything Radiohead has ever produced.
Lets not state the obvious please.
Megadeth and Metallica are the only 2 I really care for. When I saw the Big Four thing in theaters, I got there late on purpose to miss some of Anthrax's performance and took an extended piss break during Slayer's.
Thick of a Brick live was a great great show!
Glad someone loves the greatness known as Thick as a Brick. It's heaven. And I'm jealous you got to see it live.
I didn't see where IM said such false things, but that's bad and he should feel bad. MGT is coming to Oxford in October I think, I'm on the fence about going.
You sure you weren't just listening to a broken vacuum cleaner?
I heard MGMT sounds awful live. They opened for Radiohead a couple times back in 2008, and their music just doesn't sounds nearly as good live. Not everyone can be a Radiohead, and have music sound better when performed live.
You guys are all mere rookies when it comes to music... 90% of the so called music produced today is trash.
I don't understand a lot of things /mu/ considers to be gold.
They were the #1 live band in those years. Seen them many times. Seen all the bigs. Love going to concerts.
There's lots of good music. Just harder to find. And the top 40 and billboard is as awful as it ever was.
and redzero, how you like the drums? They are okay, but get repe ive to me.
