Id rather have almost anyone than Barnes.


I read a Laker fan say Barnes will play some D, rebound and hit some threes.

He forgot:

1. Make terrible passes
2. Stagnate the offense
3. Take terrible shots
4. Start fights with opposing players
5. Ignite opposing crowds and get the home team all fired up.

The only solace I can find is that Phil Jackson is smart enough not to play him much. I hate Barnes on my team at any price.

Mitch Kupchak was "optimistic" about Shannon Brown returning to the Lakers, and called [the signing of] Matt Barnes "insurance" because Luke Walton (back - nerve damage) might well miss next season.

Looks like Shannon Brown may be coming back also.

Kupchak added that the Lakers are still talking to Shannon Brown, and he's "optimistic" about re-signing Brown.

If the Lakers sign Brown and both 2nd rounders, Kupchak said he's comfortable with carrying 14 on the roster (13 last year).

Then when actually got some burn he would chuck some horrible 28footers and play zero defense. The Lakers sure missed out on that one.
