    REBECCA HAARLOW TO JOIN FOX SPORTS WEST IN ITS COVERAGE OF LOS ANGELES LAKERS BASKETBALL FOR THE 2010-2011 SEASON

    Los Angeles, California - July 23, 2010 -Kauffman Sports Management Group announces that client, Rebecca Haarlow, is leaving her post as the sideline reporter for the Portland Trail Blazers after three years of dedicated service. She will continue her on-air NBA work, joining FS West on their broadcasts of Los Angeles Lakers games in the upcoming 2010-11 season.

    Says Haarlow, "It was a difficult decision to leave the Portland Trail Blazers organization because it's family. While I will always be grateful to the Blazers for the opportunity they gave me, I am very excited to take this new step in my career with FS West." In addition to Haarlow's coverage of the Los Angeles Lakers, she has also re-joined Fox Sports Network in its national coverage of Pac-10 Football and Basketball, as well as assorted other programming.

    I am sure that Rebecca Haarlow is a very nice person & she can milk a cow & feed chickens & all of that stuff that is important to Portland living but I question if her on camera persona is really up to Los Angeles Lakers standards…

    HOLY COW! That is the equivalent of letting Kobe leave only to have the Lakers pick up Gerald Wallace to replace him. Wallace is a nice player, but there is no way he'd fill Kobe's shoes.

    Just gets better for the Lakers. Barnes is coming. Character and Bob Eubanks are ABSOLUTE steals, Baby Drew will finally be healthy and reach his 20-10 potential, and now we hijack some from one of our biggest rivals.

    She okay, though. All you corn eating, George Bush loving, hillbilly Spurs and Mavs fans would probably drive a stake through the heart of Jesus Christ for a chance at Haarlot, but in LA, she's a 3, tops. I just like the way we get what we want whenever we want.
