All part of Cubans plan. Get cp3s buddy Chandler so Paul wants to play here. Then get Paul.
    CIA CUBAN.
    We staaaaked
Then trade Chandler's expiring back to NOLA because they have to take back Okafor and CP3 will cross paths in the air. LOL.

Kobe on the other hand is very good playing off-ball.

You aren't rational on this subject since you hate PGs in general. But you're just fishing for problems here.

Chris Paul has a ridiculous basketball IQ -- he's fitting into just about any system. Considering who he would be replacing it would be an upgrade on just about every level. He does everything Fisher could from the 1, but better. He's even a more consistent shooter at this point. Fisher would also move to the position he actually is: one-trick-pony-backup-shooting-guard.

The Lakers would still have the interior advantage over Miami with Bosh on Pau. Okafor just needs to rebound, anchor and finish the plethora of easy baskets he'll be fed. Miami trying to defend Paul would be an even bigger mismatch for them to be honest. Chalmers, Arroyo and maybe White Chocolate? Haha.

Kobe is great off ball but do you want the ball in his hands or CP3's hands with the game on the line?

Bosh vs. Pau is advantage Pau, but no one on Miami can match up with Bynum. If Lebron decides to randomly start acting like a leader (lol) and makes Bosh find his , it's not so much of an advantage anymore.

Tbh though I am a little bias. If the current LA team wins it all, my PG theory remains intact and the Heat don't win. If LA got CP3, either the volume assist PG losing streak would come to an end, or I'd have to watch Miami win it, and both of those options suck.

NBA is a pick and roll league. It has been for a long time. There's like maybe two guys in the NBA that run it better than Paul.

Game on the line? Paul/Kobe pick and pop with Pau flashing to the high post. Indefensible. Kobe dribble forever iso is predictable as these days. The Lakers coaching staff has been talking about how Kobe has been learning to come off screens but no one on the team other than Farmar could create from the perimeter and Farmar was inconsistent/shoot-first.

Bosh vs. Pau is advantage Pau, but no one on Miami can match up with Bynum. If Lebron decides to randomly start acting like a leader (lol) and makes Bosh find his , it's not so much of an advantage anymore.
Bosh can't defend Pau on the block 1v1. Lebron not changing that unless he's the one double-teaming. Meanwhile Paul is breaking down Miami's defense beating them at their own game and the Bynum not demanding a steady stream of touches frees up the Kobe postup a bit more.

I'm betting on the LAKERS. Paul and Kobe would be a freaky backcourt. Bynum would be the best NO could get unless they just want to move the franchise again.

    no

knicks dont have much of value to trade

Mavs still have plenty value. Butler, Stevenson, Barea (expriings, and Butler is definitely a nice talent), Jones, Beaubois (youthful talents), as well as a possible S&T with Haywood, as he hasnt yet officially signed with the Mavs.

Mavs definitely have pieces available, as well as the ability to absorb bad contracts like Peja, Posey, or Okafor.

not saying the Mavs will get him, but to say that the Mavs have nothing to offer outside of Dirk is as misinformed as it gets.
    Er... what?

After getting rid of Dampier and Najera and signing Chandler, DoJo, and Ian the Spurs or Celtics are probably the oldest team now.

Lakers are the oldest right now, tbh. 29.3 avg age.

Hopefully they sign a couple of young players so they can give that le to the Heat (28.3) too. DAL ain't anywhere close to catching MIA when it comes to oldest team to still be relevant.

That's awesome! He would look good in a Mavs uniform. Maybe we will take Beaubois along with expiring contracts in Chandler and Butler as long as the Mavs take Okafor. If a team is willing to take Okafor, then the Hornets should trade CP3. Without Okafor involved, no deal.

Let's make the deal son. Chandler for Okafor and then Caron/Stevenson and picks for CP3.

I hate to give up tough juice but would have to pull the trigger

son that is a low blow....there are no championship contending teams out there other than the Lakers, cHeat and maybe Boston

Also, talking about low blows....did you ever tell your story with the wnba player(s) you gave the sausage to?

No way Loomie, I told you Beaubois and tough juice for one of the best players in the game. Plus Tyson. I don't mind draft picks, but I would rather take expiring contracts who can still play and a young talent like Beaubois who would be the perfect 6th man behind Collison and Thornton.
