I've watched highlights of this guy in college and he is the real deal

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he is as good as Pippen right now, but over the course of his career I think he will average 24-25 ppg and make multiple all star teams. This guy has superstar written all over him, and the Spurs championship style of basketball will help him develop early on.

I think the acquisition of him and Splitter puts us right up there with LA and Miami and I think we could beat those two teams on the right night. It's that even. I think this is the year that everybody stays healthy and the Spurs win another le!

I see where you're going but we already have Parker, Manu, and Duncan. All three have championship experience and with Splitter and Anderson they have a great supporting cast

Scottie was never a 24-25 ppg player even when Jordan retired the first time. I don't even think Scottie was a superstar. What made him special was his versatility and defense. You're suggesting Anderson has superstar potential. If that's what you believe, Scottie Pippen isn't the guy to reference and compare him wto.

Spurs very easily could've had 7 championships this decade if not for .4, Manu's foul, and that BS no call on Fisher in 2008

LOL would of made more sense if you said his career high could be 24 or 25 pts. a game ...

But for his career? Do you know where that would rank him?

this guy doesn't speak for the majority of spurs fans

at my highest expectations James Anderson will reach George Hill's level. If those expectations are met then LA will have compe ion finally... and thats a big if

They could very easily have 0 if they got the 2nd overall pick in 1997 instead of the 1st overall pick.

    True tbh, can't deny that.

Anyways, I think Anderson's rookie season will be a lot like James Harden's. Harden is much more physical while Anderson is a much better shooter. He's nothing like Pippen though.

Anderson could be a pretty good NBA player though, dude can flat out shoot from all over the court which should translate to the NBA. It wasn't like he was getting easy shots in college either, teams would swarm and double him a lot.

Of course Anderson is the next Pippen. That's easy to see. Just like it was easy to identify Alfa Fasengas as the next Olajuwon. Adam Morrison as the new Bird. Harold Miner as the next Jordan. Who couldn't spot those doppelgangers a mile away?

What I want to know is, where's the next Matt Bullard? The new Josh Boone? This generation's Travis Knight? Can someone identify a modern-day Jack Haley?

When you can bring me the next Antonio Harvey, then you will have shown me some real scouting ability.

    1. .4 was GOOD
    2. Manu's foul = cant aruge
    3. Fisher's call should of been a foul.. but wasnt there a non travel call a play earlier that wouldnt given the lakers the ball back?

2003 - Shaq had an abdominal strain, and Kobe had a bad shoulder that year!!!

so instead of 7... you may have only got 2
