I give you guys in TX credit for being able to put up with this heat all the time. It is going on 12 o'clock here in Baltimore and it is still freakin 90 degrees. And tommorow it is supposed to be 105. The icing on the cake for me would be to have no power all day after I finish my shift in the morning.

Morning is cold, day time is kinda hot, and night time is normal. Overall, it's been a great summer compared to year's past.

Thats what makes it feel like 115 degrees over here. And there is no letup. In the morning it is bearable to as long as you are moving in a car and can get a breeze it is so-so. But afternoon and evenings you can forget about it. This is the first time that I can remember that we got both a harsh winter and a harsh summer. Usually its either or for us. I still will take the cold over this. The only plus side to this is the girls aren't wearing crap.

It's a pattern change. Not global warming. Other places like where I live are cooler than normal.

In D.C. here last night at midnight it was 89 and the heat index was 98. Ridiculous.

It's been nasty humid here in SA this summer, but I found one thing: my AC knows the difference between the temp and the heat index, and shuts off much more this year than last. I haven't had an electric bill over $170 yet, and last year, I had two over $200 by now.

My problem is that I can't tell the difference between the temp and heat index, so when my AC shuts off, I run right over and adjust the thermostat! I'll be paying $300+ for sure this month
