I'm calling it. The rest of the West is nothing but one big cupcake for the Lakers to fatten up on wins with.
Who even has the hope of matching up with us? The only losses we taking this year are the ones we decide to give away for free cause we're bored or disinterested.
No one, and I mean no one, West or East, can check our line-up. We got Barnes for twice as less as Kobe spends on rings for 'Nessa. We just drafted Character and Bob Eubanks, easily the best steals of this year's draft. Baby Drew will finally be healthy for a complete season and dominate to the tune of 20-10. We got Ratliff as an additional interior defender. And most importantly, after 10 years, Kobe is finally 100% healthy. He's going to have a year that'll make Jordan's best years look D-league. Seriously.
73-9 looks possible, even inevitable.
Goddamn it feels good to be a Laker fan. I can't even begin to comprehend how you slovenly, obese, neo-con, lard eating, hillbilly Spurs and Mavs feel.
Your windows are shut, for good, and when you look out that window close to night and see a purple and gold sunset, you'll know it's God's way of reminding you of our greatness.

4/10
No, I'm predicting 67-0 before the rest of the league gives up, cancels the rest of the season and playoffs, and just preemptively awards the LOB trophy to the Lakers.
HAHAHA lakers fans.... ing cancer.
i'm going to laugh when kobe's finger falls off in mid-december.
I predict 55 wins or less
It doesnt matter how much you win during regular season you dont get a trophy for that..
Lebron knows 1st hand![]()
Allanon is that you ?

Lakers 60-22 ...
The heat will keep us inspired (much like the Cavs) and then we will put in cruise control late in the season ...
Im guessing best record West 2nd or 3rd overall in NBA ...
Hahaha 70+ wins? I'll say 60 wins at best, I would rather them play half assed during the regular season & be fresh for the playoffs.
This team isn't mentally capable of that. I think there's a lot of what-if's in your scenario. How do you know Bynum will be healthy? How do you know Bryant, at 32 with 37,000 minutes and 198 postseason games, will stay healthy? How do you know Blake and Barnes will fit in? Give it some time. Let the season start and remember--the depth in the West is treacherous. If they can manage to do this, it will be a feat. Just cool off a little, though.
No doubt. The cHeat's creation probably has Kobe and Artest in the gym as we speak. If not for that team coming together, Lakers may have gotten even more complacent than usual, seeing the way Orlando got Vince Carter'd and the Celtics continued to rot away picking up the corpse of Jermaine O'Neal and the ghost of Shaq.
All of you saying that the Lakers won't win 73 and will only manage to win 60 or so because we'll go into cruise control or play half-assed out of boredom, are forgetting that our "cruise control mode" is better than 95% of our compe ion's A game.
Blake's coming, Barnes is coming, Character and Bob Eubanks will be called upon when needed, Bynum will be healthy, Kobe will also be healthy.
All of our injuries last year put us in a kind of default "cruise control" and we still easily won the le.
73 is coming, fellas. The NBA is ed.
I recommend that all you Laker haters stock up on a large a supply of tissues and sleeping pills for the upcoming season, because the Purple 'n Gold is going to make it a very, very depressing season for all you haters.
Lakers are just that good. What an amazing offseason the Lakers had. Can't wait to see them and the Heat next season.
Sadly, 21_ ings is not even in the top 3 of arrogant Laker fans on this forum and he's a ing parody.
no ing way. just too many factors that can go against LA
It is possible if they have zero injuries, but does happen and the Lakers seem to relax during the long season.
The Lakers could give a about the regular season.
The Heat however will probably make 70 wins their goal. Only to get molested in the finals by the most recent rendition of the Lakers dynasty.
