Ducks... Spurs related how?

same thing the spurs players should be thinking
their is a reason games are played on the court not paper
They better hope their starting 5 scores over 90 ppg cause that second unit's not going to do crap.
stated in the post above

spurs related or not...here here...he's right.
what's funny is that half of this is capitalized for no reason
He's right, the games are played on the basketball court and not on paper. I think Miami will be really good but what concerns me is the lack of depth despite having 3 superstars. I don't know if against teams like Lakers, Celtics, Orlando and perhaps even Chicago all have more depth if that's gonna be enough to win a playoff series. The three of them would have to score over 100 points a game in the playoffs to beat teams with more depth. They will probably have a great regular season and secure home court advantage throughout the playoffs but the playoffs are different and having depth matters. I think on certain nights they will dominate and on other nights when they play teams with more depth they have the potential to struggle. Of course I will not deny they could be really dangerous, which they will be on certain nights. The question is basically can 3 superstars and little depth win a championship in the current NBA?
Rondo adds "stating the blindingly obvious" to his list of talents
I just like the idea that the East will be more compe ive.
Bad blood brewing between the Celtics and the Heat is a good thing. I want them to beat the tar out of each other if they meet in the playoffs.
What Rondo said is correct though. Add one injury to their big three and their problems increase exponentially.
I still don't see the Heat as the team to beat in the East. They have to prove they deserve it first.
Exactly, I see it that way to. The thing that concerns me is the lack of depth despite James, Wade, Bosh, Haslem, BigZ and Miller. If one of the big 3 gets hurt they have the potential to get blown out of the gym by teams with more depth. LeBron has to be the most important player on that team, if he gets injured that would be worse than Wade getting injured. LeBron and Bosh alone is enough to win some basketball games, Wade and Bosh ok but LeBron has proven he has what it takes to lead a team to a great regular season.
Never thought I'd say this...Rondo and Ducks are right.
IMO, Miami is going to Peter Roll most teams during the regular season and they may drop a few to the Playoff contenders with deep benches in the regular season ONLY.
Mainly because your bench does win games in the regular season and that changes in the post season.
The teams with the best benches don't win les, the team with the best starters wins les. There are no back to back games in the playoffs so you can ride your starters for a long time in the playoffs. Especially when they are youngens like the Heat have in Bosh, LBJ and Flash.
So if you think it takes a deep bench to win playoff series and a le, please give me an example of this. The last team I remember to use a deep bench to win a le was the old Detroit Pistons.
I agree with what Ghost just said and will add to it. The lakers bench this year was pure garbage just terrible it was Odom and a bunch of scrubs. Even Odom was inconsistent which meant at times during the playoffs the Lakers got no bench production but they still won games when they had to due to their starters coming through. The same thing will be the case with the Heat during the playoffs they will win games with only 1 or 2 guys stepping up off their bench but because of the overwhelming advantage they have with their starters they will be able to win the games they have to win. I laugh at the injury card to you can say that with any team if Gasol goes down with an injury the Lakers are screwed same with any other team if one of their top 3 players gets injured. The injury card is more like wishful thinking that one of their big 3 gets hurt.
When has talent not lead to success? At least when it comes to both sides of the court. The mavs in 04 had a glaring weakness in defense and were poor volume shooters with Walker and no center being a big part of that.
I agree with Rondo...they haven't.
Obviously, someone hacked ducks' account the other day and started posting in the NFL forum...
Too bad he can't add a jump shot instead.
