Definitely agree about Hunter...I knew Davis would be out too..I was wondering WTF they were doing waving him home...he was pretty hardcore....bad call on Nellie, too...it was a tie.
He shouldn't have been waved home to begin with. I knew he was gonna get thrown out the second I saw he wasn't stopping at third. However, I do have to give credit to Davis for running over the catcher. There are so many players that will see that the catcher has the ball waiting for him, and they will do some pussy slide and end up 5 feet away from the plate.
btw, by no means has Tommy Hunter been bad tonight. But I'm a little worried that a lot of his outs are fly balls.

The Rangers by far have most guys thrown out on the bases in the ML. I hate pissing away outs especially against ty pitchers like Trevor Bell

It had to have been precautionary after getting hit with the ball. It didn't look serious, but you never know. Can't risk it. Ultimately I'm ok with the decision. But it would have been interesting because Hunter could have probably gone the whole way.
He could have..but after letting a couple balls go where he didn't want them to, it was probably best to do it then instead of taking a chance. Hopefully it doesn't mess with his self esteem though. Getting kind of worried about Vlad though.

I like that we are pitching Lee every five days, including off days. Tuesday would be Colby's spot in the rotation. But because of the off day tomorrow, Lee will pitch Tuesday and Lewis will go Wednesday.
The one hitter that scares me with the A's is Jack Cust. Ever since he got called up he's had 7 HR's in 9 games
