It's actually Stride Gum's dime. No idea why, but they paid him to travel the world and make his stupid dancing videos. His website says that he never went to college and he isn't rich. He's lucky as though.
He's not a "college boy" and it's not on his father's dime. I'm not saying negative opinions aren't always valid or humorous, but if you've got time to complain about having a job, kids, and a mortgage AND complain about someone being sponsored to travel the world, then you've also probably got time to Google the story behind it - right?

The guy confessed it was part of a viral marketing campaign. Parts of the video might be real, but some are clearly a fake.

What do you mean by clearly fake? Staged? Any scene with people jumping in to dance is clearly staged. But I'm not sure anything is clearly fake. Could be tho, that's a lot of in travel.
If you knew OG, youd know he was being sarcastic to the Nth degree.
