Gina tole me you come over the other day and had all kinds of red stuff on your neck and pepito. She get mad and confront you, ask you whose lipstick is that. You tole her that is wasn't lipstick. She ask what is it? You became embarrassed and didn't say nothing, just stood there like a dumb burro. Gina poke you in the chest and demanded to know who the other woman's lipstick was. You then tole her, "It's not lipstick, all right. It's Kool-aid."
Gina become confused. She ask you, "Why do you have this Kool-Aid on your ?" You came clean and tole Gina about the Koolaid Man. Tell her this is the nickname of your mayate boyfriend. Doesn't look like a sad era. It looks like the best the franchise has ever had. It looks to me that the Nowitzki-led Mavericks have turned the franchise into something respectable, starting a winning tradition that will be measured against other eras for years to come.
Let me ask you this: If they had won the le in 2006, would you be able to say this? Review the Miami Heat record in the Dwyane Wade era. With exception to the trophy, it is worse than the Mavericks. Compare it to Dwight Howard in Orlando, Lebron James in Cleveland, Detroit without Billups (they lost Steve Nash), etc. If the bar is this high for "worst franchises," then half the league would have to fold.
