I remember when I used to play fantasy Jack Cust would always go on a home run tear after a minor league call up, and then eventually pitchers just stopped throwing him fast balls, he can't get a hit to save his life, gets demoted back down to the minors, rinse repeat.

The funny thing is that our magic number to clinch is tied to the A's, not the Angels. The A's have a higher plateau of wins they can reach. Our magic # over the Angels is 56.love it...great idea...also love that we have the lowest magic number in baseball.

7.5 game lead now over BOTH the Angels and A's.
Magic number over A's is 57; over Angels is 55; over Mariners is 44. A sweep of the A's would cut that number to 51. Cliff Lee will get the series started!

A new career high for Lee with 12 Ks. He has pitched phenomenally. What sucks is that the one run he allowed was unearned and should have easily been avoided. And we can't give him any run support!! ARGH
Lee continues to dazzle. Career high 12 K's yet we still have trouble scoring for him
