They're "clearly" the team that can stop the defending champs, but they can't even win a single playoff series.
Oh wow, SpurFan doesn't even know what to do with himself at this point.
Didn't you say that my boyfriend er...Kobe couldn't win without Shaq? Well guess what, he did. You haters can keep doubting and we'll keep stacking these![]()

I concur with this statement. The Lakers are the oldest team in the league. Five of their six top players are over 30. Now with the acquisition of Barnes and Ratliffe they have also become the least athletic.
The Spurs represent the only team with veteran saavy, championship pedigree, and with the recent acquistions, athletic team that can get up and down the court. Based on this formula the Spurs are on par for another ODD-YEAR CHAMPIONSHIP.
Spurs just outted the mavs in 6 and got better this offseason, why not better this year? I mean with RJ under a full year and others coming in while they got only Chandler.
Why will SA not be better than Dallas?
House troll was downright hilarious when the real House posted. He would make those y threads like the original and fool a couple people every time![]()
sons I GUARANTEE you that the Hornets will win AT LEAST 45 games this season with or without Chris "the " Paul. I GUARANTEE it! Now of course 45 games is nothing to brag about (unless you're in the Eastern Conference then its good enough for like the 3rd seed) ... but we are not a lottery team like many of these so called "experts" are claiming.
Well I don't expect them to be out of the PO picture next season, though I agree with you that they got a bit lucky. There's no way unfortunately they can compete without a solid frontcourt.
yeah, LOL at Blazers at #2. They were a flukey, scrappy team last year and will show it next season. Damaged teams are dangerous, and that's what the Blazers showed us last year. They'll be lucky to make it into the playoffs.
OKC is for real, but I agree with others here, they had a unbelievably lucky season in terms of injuries. We'll see how they cope with their first Durant injury or Westbrook injury.
Utah is always going to be in the thick of things, but Jefferson is a downgrade from boozer in terms of defense and toughness.
Denver has the talent every year but no George Karl team is something you should take seriously.
Phoenix blew up their team when Amare bolted, and they'll be fighting for a playoff spot with the Blazers and the Mavericks, who are ancient now by NBA standards. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Mavs as the team on the outs, but it will come down to injuries.
SA will be much better than anyone expects.

Stupid Spur fan.
All this Laker greatness has made you insane. Kobe gettin' six this year, and the only kind of six Duncan will be seeing is a six foot grave for his career to buried in.
We can't be closed out! The NBA is ed!

The NBA been ed.
It's getting ed like the way I you every other night.
My 's a little tired, though, you been so demanding since the Lakers got Matt Barnes, so tonight you have a choice between the Kobe or Bynum bobble head.
Maybe even both if your ass is up to it.
Babe, check your PMs, you've been acting weird lately
What is the deal between you and cobbler lately. I saw the way you looked at each other. Please msg me back i hope your not mad at me![]()
It doesn't matter, the Lakers will win the WC unless they get hurt.
The WC ranking is:
1- Lakers
Playoffs teams: Spurs, Mavs, Rockets, Blazers, Jazz, Thunder, Nuggets.
To make it a little more interesting I will try to rank them.
1-Lakers
2-Spurs
3-Thunder
4-Jazz
5-Mavs
6-Blazers
7-Nuggets
8-Rockets
Thunder are well over rated. Playoffs yes, top 4 doubt it.
1-Lakers
2-Blazers
3-Mavs
4-Spurs
5-Jazz
6-Nuggets
7-Thunder
8-Rockets
how are the mavs #3 in the West if they were bounced in the 1st round last year?
Spurs got better how? Jefferson, a year or not, still sucks. The majority of the fanbase didn't even want the bas back. Is bringing back Bonner considered getting "better"? I fail to see how they got better. Explain.
Because they're still a good team.
Theoretically, it can only get better....
By adding Splitter and a healthy Parker, Hill and Blair will get better and getting rid of Bogans and Mason also helps.
They definitely didn't get worse. Remember that the second part of the season the Spurs were one of the best teams in the league. I expect that kind of play for the entire season.
Blazers could very well be #2 in the West IF Oden stays healthy and Roy manages to become a more efficient player off the ball and not having to dominate every single possession.
I don't really see why one would put the Mavs above the Spurs, though. Neither team made any drastic changes in the offseason, but the potential upside of Splitter by far exceeds that of Chandler/Haywood in comparison to Damp/Haywood.
On paper without injuries taking effect which is always a big if.
1. Lakers
2. Nuggets
3. Mavs
4. Spurs
5. Rockets
6. Jazz
7. Grizzlies
8. Blazers
9. Thunder
10. Hornets
11. Warriors
12. Suns
13. Clippers
14. Kings
15. T-Wolves.
