    Now that we're on point, how does one become a fan of a team. Also, being a Mavs fan I gather can't be misconstrued as a bandwagon fan, when there really is nothing for them to latch on. Easy shot I know...but par for the course given your repertoire.

    Generally because one roots for the team in the city they're from/live in since that's the whole point of having teams dispersed throughout the country. Why do you think I'm a Suns fan, because of all the championships the Suns have?
