    For some reason Francona put Lackey out there for the 8th and he proceeded to allow a HR to Abreu. Luckily nobody was on base, so Boston still leads 3-2 in the 9th.

    Are you even paying attention? the A's have been just as hot as the Rangers out of the All-Star break. They're 2nd in the division. They're not an elite team but to put them on the same level as Baltimore is freakin re ed.

    are the rangers done making moves?

    I like the idea of a 1st Baseman or utility guy, but I think one more big arm would make us legit contenders.

    Unless the 1st Baseman is Dunn or Fielder of course. Cantu or Wigginton would be nice, but not major difference makers IMO.

    The Rangers just rented Jorge Cantu. Gave up Evan Reed and Omar Poveda. Cantu has some good intangibles with some clutchness and fire to his game...plus he's a right-hand bat who can play 1B.
