SAN ANTONIO – This space is usually reserved for the spectacular, but we’ll go with flawless fundamentals from Wednesday’s practice.
It’s not often that you see DeMarcus Ware get stoned in 1-on-1 pass-rushing drills. Doug Free pulled off that feat.
Ware tried an inside-out move, but Free didn’t bite on the fake. He set his feet, waited for Ware to come his way and delivered a strong two-hand punch.
One of the NFL’s premier pass rushers was stopped in his tracks.
The Cowboys believe the 6-foot-6, 320-pound Free, who performed well in seven starts at right tackle last season, is well suited to protect Tony Romo’s blind side because of his quick feet. But Ware has mentioned that Free is much more powerful than people think.
“Man, he’s strong,” Ware said Tuesday "gg, NFL".
Free proved Ware right, at the All-Pro’s expense, the next day.
people getting trolled already
I admit, I thought benefactor would take the bait already
lol pinning his playoff hopes on if Favre comes back.
tbh they are already enshrining the best RB to EVER play the game in Canton. The Boys will already be there, just give them the trophy then.
gg NFL.
gg, NFL
I see you, Doug
I basically have the same opinion of Dallas Dr. Gonzo does, I can't stand the way some Dallas fans act and I hope they disappoint again this year (in particular Dez Bryant), but outside of offensive line and the secondary they have depth and quality talent at every position and are the favorites to win the NFC. Even at O-line, they still have a great power running game with Gurode, Davis, Colombo and Witten blocking the strong side, and in the secondary they need help at safety but are great at corner.
I still think they were dumb to draft that linebacker in the 2nd round over Charles Brown since it's not like they would have been reaching for Brown and LT was a way bigger need than linebacker but time will tell whether or not Doug Free works out for them. Against Minnesota, pass protection killed their offense and safety play killed their defense, if they can sure those two things up it'll be tough for any NFC team to beat them.
tbh the "I HATE COWBOYFAN! THEY BANDWAGON!!....... GO PATS
" is always funny
Where did that post say anything about bandwagoning? The Cowboy homerism on this board is what's annoying, the bandwagon Cowboy fans I hate probably can't afford internet.
Homerism? What homerism?
I'll take an overrated QB who manages to throw for 26 TDs and 9 INTs
Romo actually improved a lot last year and (sans the Giant game) he did a great job of not turning over the ball.
lol dolphins
Well here's one I can think of
http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/show...1&postcount=11 ....."Patriots would be lucky to get Tashard Choice for him" when referring to Randy Moss. Unless Tashard Choice is the best 3rd strong running back in NFL history by a long shot, idk how the Patriots would be lucky to get him back when trading one of the best receivers of all time. This is one of the countless examples of Cowboy fan overglorifying a in 3rd string running back.

well tbh i was joking considering the thread were posting in, but yeah there are some big cowboy homers.
And tbh I my original statement wasn't directed right at you, are you even a Pats fan? Someone told me you were a Cardinal fan.
Yes it does seem bandwagon but I am a Patriots/Cardinals fan. I don't and never have claimed to be a die hard Patriots/Cards fan like I'm a "die hard" Suns fan, but I do cheer for both teams and fortunately they are so unrelated that they never conflict with one another.
This statement is very hard to argue with.
