There are 2 types of trolling on this board:
1. The lame, repe ive trolls who start thread after meaningless thread need to be reined in. The numerous Miami Heat trolls pretending to talk "black" are a prime example. Lakaluva is another example - zero basketball takes and all his threads usually turn into smack talk. These trolls need to be barred from starting new threads.
2. The Mav Krew is actually pretty judicious when it comes to trolling - they don't go about posting "Dirk > Duncan" or "Dallas rules" all over the place. koriwhat richly deserved all the trolling he got. His continuous over-reaction to garden-variety trolling just incited everyone, trolls and normal posters alike, to join in the fun. And he still doesn't have the brains to figure out that all he needs to do is STFU and the trolling will die down eventually. Unless he is legally re ed or something, I fail to see how any poster can show restraint when this idiot is begging people to on him.
My suggestion: ban the lame heat trolls, give lakaluva one last warning, and put koriwhat on a timeout. You'll find that the trolls will automatically move on to more interesting topics, and the good times will roll.
