I will simply go back to my earlier point. It was an amendment shot down, not the bill. If the bill doesn't move forward, it's the demonrats who are killing it.
Can some liberal show me otherwise?
Loved the passion/theatrics, but let's keep it real...
Dems just being the wusses they are playing the game with something they could have passed for years now.
Hope to see more of this in the future though even if it's just surface game![]()

Sure, most democrats voted for it, most republicans didn't. Simple as that.
The Dems attempt to wield the 9/11 whip hand.
IMO it's as pathetic and unconvincing as all the previous attempts to make 9/11 and its victims into a political football, including -- regrettably -- my own.
(If you really love them, don't make them a prop for your silly bulletin board post. Doing so trivializes their deaths and lives alike.)
Democrats are not using 9/11 responders for nefarious purposes, they really want health-care for these heros.....they just don't want the GOP to attach a bunch of useless clauses to the bill...
But how did the republicans kill the bill?
They didn't. Did they...
They didn't let them.
Come on Dan. The bill didn't go to a senate vote yet, and that is the choice of the majority. The vote that is being touted as killing the bill was just a vote for an amendment to the bill. Not the bill.
Can you show me otherwise?
They can still try more amendments, and bring the bill to a vote. Why don't they?

Funny how actually paying for something is a useless clause every single time for the dems.
ahhhh just this once, it's important....just this once, gotta do it.....just this once, lives depend on it...just this once, the fate of the world...
When you operate in the third circle of during the good times, you handicap yourself (i.e., the country) when the bad times roll around - even on the simplest of things.
