As long as LeBron is in the league, he's always going to be in the conversation.

With Wade & Lebron teaming up and sharing shots: it's down to Durant, Kobe, or Carmelo. Kobe will probably defer more to Gasol and Bynum and I can't see Denver winning enough games to make a case for Melo so.... yeah, I'd go with Durant too.

Dwight Howard will win MVP this year IMO..obviously these are just predictions that don't really mean anything, but I'll go with him..he has worked with Hakeem this Summer, he's going to have the ball more, Orlando will still have a great record, and Lebron has to share duties with Wade now..

    Durant has become overrated IMO..

I already said that I gained some respect for Durant a few weeks ago, seems like a good guy..

I would bet the farm that James doesn't win MVP next year. Not on Wade's team.

I think it's too soon for Durant. Also will be hard for him to get Mvp if his team doesn't get at the very least top 4 on the West.

Dwight Howard is actually a good possibility if he improves enough on offence next year.

I don't think he's going to win it either, I was just responding to your "who do you think is in the conversation?" question.

Yes he is. That and the fact that everyone's eyes will be in Miami and the possibility of a Lakers vs Miami final is why I canīt see him stealing the spotlight with the team he currently has.

media does not like james right now

    durant resigned with team
if thunder get in the playoffs it is going to be between him and melo
melo does not sign his extension he could be traded and no mvp for him

If anyone on that team wins MVP it will Batman not Robin. So Lebron no longer is in the running.

I agree that Howard might win it next year as his offense should be much better.

Dwight Howard will win MVP, if his team wins 60 games. That would be my prediction. Wade and LeBron together would hurt their chances equally.

This is true, plus the animosity to them leaves them out.

    Kobe, Dwight, Kevin Durant

Howard will always suck at offense. He will still score a good amount off of dunks though. His moves will always suck and he will never get any touch.

I have no reason to go against the Durant prognostication....this award goes to the top scorers with the most wins, but TD will be the true under the radar MVP...the most valuable player without the stats, but with the wins and the hardware at the end of the day. You can beleee dat. He'll pass the torch this year like DRob did with him. True MVPs seek team glory, not individual.
