Devean George is a defensive minded 2/3 with a good three point shot and playoff experience who may have a year or two left in his tank. He played well enough for the Warriors last year to warrant a shot with the Spurs. Another guy, that fits the defensive stopper bill could be Y. Diawara who apparently is not going back to Miami. Good young defender, has a 3pt shot though it's not very reliable. I think both these guys are a step up from Bogans and unless Alonzo Gee turns out to be a stud or the FO finds someone else that's better they deserve a shot.

My standard answer before camp will likely be "Meh." Some players might be worth a look, but if the Spurs are as close to the tax threshold as has been claimed here, probably not worth losing money over.

Diawara would be intriguing, if he's improved his shooting. If I remember correctly, he's primarily a spot-up shooter from three, but just not very consistent. Got the tools to be a great defender though.

    George sucks.

I'm sticking with Jarvis Hayes until he signs with the Cavs for a bigger paycheck.

lol devean george sucks. I think mavs and lakers fans can attest to that enough.

He's not the same Devean George who made good contributions in the Lakers' three-peat.

Jarvis Hayes, where did you hear that? Cavs just signed Joey Graham and there is a QO on Jawad Williams whilst Moon is on the roster. That's enough small forwards.

Hayes might just be the best players out of the group mentioned there

It was a joke. I do think Hayes is the best available, but that's not saying much.
