I don't relate to that movie, or the kid cross-dressing to cheat. If you like Rodney, then Back to School would be a neat movie to remake.
Best Little House in Texas
Crocodile Dundee
Ghost
Heaven Can Wait?
M*A*S*H
Porkey's
Red Dawn.... is in production...
Smokey and the bandit?
The Last Starfighter… It's a fun movie. Love to see it with modern CGI.
The Vikings
The Witches of Eastwick
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea... Who can replace Barbara Eden though?
Wargames... wait, they did that one... I need to buy it!

The Star Wars prequel trilogy. And make sure George Lucas is nowhere near it. Completely redo the story, everything. They've made their 6-7 hour long toy commercials, now make some movies.
Little Darlings, 1980.![]()
The first one was amazing.
They did get better along the way, but they went from blow-your-brains-out sucking to just 'meh.' I want more from Star Wars, something like ESB.
I'm a bit surprised no one has mentioned Masters of the Universe yet. It could be pretty bad ass done 300 style.
That Dolph Lundgren movie is something no one should ever lay eyes on again.
God, I loved The Empire Strikes back when it came out in the late 70's.
It did help that I had some windowpane though...
I decided to find some youtubes. Some of you are young enough, you might not know what these are:
Agreed. I re-watched Menace II society recently and Boyz N the hood felt much more real.
I strongly disagree with this. Meance II Society looks like a bad caricature, while the characters in Boys n the Hood actually had some depth.
The Grapes of Wrath
I'd also like to see Idiocracy re-imagined as a TV series.

Warner Bros. Remaking The NeverEnding Story
Silent Hill and a slew of other video game films that have sucked ass.
That itself was a remake of Here Comes Mr. Jordan and was reremade in 2001 as Down to Earth.
The Last Star Fighter is a great idea for a remake.
No Country for Old Men
When Anton Chigurh crosses into Mexico and looks for Llwellen Moss, have Llw and his wife Carla Jean set a trap for him, catch him and then slap him into next Tuesday.
He dies a slow death with monoslobGETSowned sobbing at his side.
Llw and Carla Jean take the money and retire in Mexico.
Avatar.
Instead of the Blue People becoming as vicious and violent as the Army/Corporate greedpigs, have the Blue People turn the animals on them at the beginning of their provocation, not the end.
The animals are wiping out the Corporate Army threat and a good number of Army soldiers decided the Corporate Pig Cause is bogus and surrender to the Blue People. Thus Blue World is returned to it's peace loving state. New Avatar guy Jake Sully marries blue chick Neytiri and they have 14 kids.
The Spurs sign Jake Sully to play PF and the Army of Stoopid Pop Apologists mourn the benching of Soft and Matty Bonner.
It would be funny to see Denzel in a comedic role!
Forrest Gump is definitely one of the movies that you'll never feel tired of no matter how many times they've been remade. The only difficulty IMHO is you can hardly find anyone capable of acting this role as well as Tom Hanks did and Tom Hanks is too old for this role already.
I always wanted to see another sequel to Fright Night and bring back that nice guitar solo from the film, and also the Professional with Natalie Portman being really bad ass now, maybe some flashbacks with Jean Reno "Leon", but new scenes of him in flashbacks kind of like Mick came back on that one scene in Rocky V.
Maybe I'll get to do it one day.
Man, if only a great sequel to HEAT could be made too. lol
Movies just aren't as good as they used to be, by far.
Sadly, the original trilogy actors are too old now but I always thought Timothy Zahn's Star Wars "Thrawn" novel trilogy should have been brought to the big screen before any prequels.
SILENT RAGE.
My favorite Chuck Norris movie! The bad guy never did die, so it would great if a sequel would be made. It wouldn't be a remake, but a sequel would do.
I have heard that they were contemplating a 'sequel' trilogy, but I don't know if it was centered on that series or not. If they did do a sequel trilogy, but if they decided to recast the characters, who would you pick to play Han, Luke, etc.?
I'm kind of afraid they'd do Ben Affleck as Solo and Matt Damon as Luke. They do have the camaraderie aspect down, I guess.
I never thought I'd hear anyone mention that movie. That's one of my all-time favorite low budget "B" movies...and my favorite of Chuck Norris as well. It doesn't need to be re-made. It's fine the way it is. The killer in the film always reminded me of a Michael Myers ripoff![]()
