But, why does that fact "pre-arranged deal" let you off the hook, Har?
Not being incendiary here, just curious.
I know, but it was a pre-arranged deal, which is why you don't hear Spurs fans get too angry about it..if you bring up Scola's name, on the other hand, there's a meltdown..

Got it. Your never know how those late picks turns out.
Definitely, it's a toss-up at that point in the draft..I'm a fan of Dragic though, would love him on the Spurs, his Dragon Shake(?) at the rim is one of the more entertaining signature moves in the NBA right now IMO..
I think Dragic is alright nothing special imo had one great game pretty much that was it, I still think Hill is going to be a better player then dragic imo, hill needs to work on getting to the basket more, just many people overrate Dragic becuase he plays behind nash and gentry is on his balls the whole game even if he is on the sidelines even when there taking a crap tbh. I havent lost sleep losing him like I did for Scola, I'm not upset about losing him we got malik hairston & dejaun blair pretty much Hairston had the pontential to be a excellent roll player for us but couldn't shoot(hope he comes back after this season) and of course Blair is legit
^o ya you can change your sig now. we just rang twice. better luck next year?
Quit Hatin'
boy its a funny ass quote from a funny ass poster thats why I keep it up brah, and to piss of s like you that get butthurt reading a comment like that
ya but its false. That was last year and we won last year. Maybe you should modify it say something like "crofl farmar>>blake lakers won't even win a single game lol" if that satisfies you got.
Quit Hatin'
The Suns wont be the same now with the departure of Amare and the arrival of Hedo..
Because NBA rules don't allow teams to swap first round draft picks. The Spurs wouldn't have drafted Dragic. The Suns were worried that someone other than the Spurs was going to pick him and they paid the Spurs a second round pick to take him a bit earlier. The Spurs ended up with the guy they wanted (Hairston) plus a second round pick (Dejuan Blair). The alternative is that the Spurs could have refused the trade with Phoenix and would have just ended up with Hairston.
We didn't draft then trade him. The deal was already done, we drafted him for the Suns. There is a difference.
You fellas must be happy you finally get to watch NBATV again, what with the 2010 champion Lakers dominating the airwaves the first 2 months of this fine, fine summer.
And we got Dejuan Blair out of that trade, so I'm ok with giving up Dragic. For the time being, we got a guy named Tony Parker, playing in a contract year.
