Nery Castillo to Fire

thoughts?
on MLS level he should be at the same level as Guillermo Barros Schelotto... he's a club overachiever and NT underachiever... he's cold... plays like a German... very technical though gets the job done... mid field on the right side helping with the creation is when he's at his best.
First Fernandez goal to help the team advance in the Concacaf Champions league![]()

It's not official yet but it looks like Giovani Dos Santos is heading to AC Milan
How should I feel about this one?
It would definitely help strengthen the old midfield. Pirlo, Seedorf, Gio, Dinho, Pato, and Borriello sounds pretty good to me
It's still a rumor some sites say that the deal will go down others that it won't. But It's def. a good move if it happens. I really feel that Spurs undervalue him. I hope it happens.
Most media are dismissing the move to AC Milan from what Ive heard, where did you read/hear that its likely to happen? And the Spurs dont undervalue him I think the manager has even said he has world class talent...Gio just hasnt gotten his off-field together. Its not his lack of talent thats keeping him off the field its his conduct off of it. Going to Milan to join up with Ronaldinho probably wouldnt be such a good thing considering that, other than that its a solid move. AC Milan is an important club.
Also what happened to the Salcido to Liverpool rumor? The guy is valued like a 3 million euros, cant believe noone is picking him up that would be a complete steal. If his birth certificate said Argentinian or Brasilian he would be considered one of the best left backs in the world and would have offers all over the place. Damn shame that he might have to stick it out at PSV since he doesnt seem to get along with the manager.
couldn't agree more![]()
Redknamp doesn't like Gio, and that's obvious. If you don't see that you are blind. He's still holding a grudge from that one night were he got faced. Then just this past Christmas the whole team sneaks out to have a party except Dos Santos and Wilson Palacios and all the regulars kept their spots.. If he thinks he's world class why isn't gio in his plans and he's trying to sell him or loan him? Even after Gio pleaded to give him a chance. And the fact that Redknamp is trying to buy Bellamy pretty much shows how he feels about Gio.
And about the rumors, Don't shoot the messenger. I'm just posting what i heard/read online or the radio.
anyway..
2 more teams interested in Gio, Juventos and Fiorentina.

Spanish daily Marca claims the two clubs have come to an agreement and that Carvalho, 32, will sign a two-year contract at the Bernabeu, with the option for a further year.
If the reports are verified then Carvalho will become Real's fifth signing of the summer transfer window, following Angel Di Maria, Sergio Canales, Pedro Leon and Sami Khedira.
At the weekend, Jose Mourinho suggested that Carvalho's advancing years meant he was unlikely to link up once again with the defender, who under the new Real coach won the 2004 Champions League with Porto and two Premier League les with Chelsea.
However, Real saw their bid to sign Inter Milan right-back Maicon collapse and while Benfica's David Luiz and AC Milan's Thiago Silva were alternative targets, they appear to have turned to Carvalho in an effort to improve their defence.
Carvalho, who joined Chelsea from Porto in the summer of 2004 for a fee of £19.85 million, recently claimed he has been given permission to leave Stamford Bridge and that he would go to Madrid "swimming or running", such is his desire to be reunited with Mourinho.
The Portugal international picked up a third Premier League le last season but has seen his first-team chances reduce in recent seasons, with Brazilian defender Alex finding favour under Guus Hiddink and then Carlo Ancelotti.
If Carvalho does move to Real then he will join Joe Cole, Michael Ballack, Deco and Juliano Belletti in leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.
