Newly Included General Rules and Notes:
I recommend you get there 15-25 minutes early to make sure your connection and draft software are working properly. You never know for certain, so take precautions. The draft starts on Yahoo's clock. I cannot stop it. I will not edit auto picks. If you think you might be late, at least rank your players for the first 4 rounds.Expect this draft to last somewhere between 3-4 hours. Everyone is permitted to use any or all of the allotted time to make their picks. Plan accordingly.
Additionally in in-season play, I will not be inputting or changing your starting lineups. These are your responsibility to take care of beforehand. Don't call or text me asking to set your lineups on Sunday (If you're unable to access the web prior to Sunday and would like me to set your lineup, I will do so.). Do call me or text me if there is something wrong with the Yahoo software. If you're trying to set your lineup with 7 minutes or less before game time and it doesn't go through, this is not a software problem. This means you waited to late to make your changes. We go by Yahoo's time, not the clock on your computer.
With lineups, I've also experienced problems with owners who do not set their lineups, leaving in bye week players, players that are 100% out (absolutely, positively no chance of playing), or outright empty slots. DO NOT LET THIS BE YOU. This is harmful to the entire league. As long as you play a player with even a remote chance of playing (any chance of playing whatsoever), you are fine. If I see you start a player that has 100%, absolutely no possibility of playing 3 times, you're banned from the league. You will still be able to finish the season. I will send a warning notice to you the 1st and 2nd times. This is an ultra compe ive league. If you aren't setting your lineups, then you're not being compe ive and hurting the league and will be banned.
In the event of league disputes of any kind, the matter will be in my sole discretion. I have complete authority to resolve a dispute in any fashion I so choose. This means I may send the matter for league vote, I may observe 3rd party opinions, and/or I may unilaterally make the decision.
Controlling League Laws
If anyone breaks the 2 rules below, you're banned for life. You also forfeit any prize money you earn.
- No owner may drop or "dump" players from their team for any reason other than improving their own team or its standing within the league.
- No owner will engage in any action that might be deemed to be collusive (two or more owners agreeing to make moves that benefit one team, but not the other).
#2, dumping players, has been a problem in a few leagues I've played recently. Do not decide to unload your roster one Saturday because you just feel like it. There's no need to explain why not, just don't ever dump your roster or your star players, etc.

Nah, just lucky.
Still annoyed about last year though even though it was possibly the worst team I ever drafted.
Sundays are looking good, but it doesn't matter if I get a few weeks notice beforehand.

Nope. I hope the $25 and $50 leagues fill up, last year we only had 10 in the $25 league so hopefully the word gets out more. These are fun and very compe ive leagues!

I can do the draft any evening with notice as long as its after 7:10 central.
I can do it pretty much anytime on the weekends. After the 23rd my time will be much more limited (I can still do these times though).

6 playoff teams? can that be changed? when anyone can have an obscenely good or bad week, any week, letting half the teams into the playoffs turns the whole thing into a crap-shoot.
I'd much much rather have 4 teams, and even 2-week games in the playoffs if possible
