My 2nd option is exactly what you have described, just slightly abbreviated.
100K?
Not as much as some people may think, especially after taxes.
How many of you paid taxes in the 31% marginal rate?
My 2nd option is exactly what you have described, just slightly abbreviated.
Of course, 100k per year isn't as big of a deal as maybe most people perceive it still, but it's still good money and allows enough for one to live very comfortably.
I'm guessing # 2.
Give me $100K and I'll let you know in a year.
Are you sure about that guess? The fact that you yourself are guessing leads me to think #1 is more likely.
If you're single without kids and live in Texas, you're livin' pretty damn well on $100K, tbh.
But I'm somewhat of a minimalist and don't need to spend on a bunch of bull or unnecessary stuff.
Not as well in the Portland Metro area.
That's why I made sure to say Texas. I've been told it ain't all that great up on the East Coast either.
Just move to San Antonio Tlong and you can finally embrace your true team, The San Antonio Spurs.
We might have some lachinas aroud here somewhere as well.
Yes, I do think making over 100K a year is a lot. Was that too mundane?
I could never root for the Spurs. However, the lachinas do sound tempting.
You might be right.
One should be doing pretty well at that salary -- should be secure enough at that point to not talk about income.
