Do you really find that much entertainment in repeating the exact same arguments, ad nauseam? I mean, it's funny to a point, but 6 pages solid of the same thing nearly verbatim, over and over?
All true. An easy way to avoid 15 page threads that center around yourself is to not post in them (koriwhat).
I will say this, though, koriwhat's "situation" has spawned the absolute worst troll meme in my history at spurstalk.
The ing "lol" crap. If it were used sparingly, it might be funny. When it appears in every thread and every e-disagreement, it fizzles.

Sometimes I really do. You have to appreciate the details and the finer points in the trolling. Do you ask someone who goes to a wine festival if they like drinking the same grape flavored drink over and over?

I have no problem with z0sa and why would I? We kick it about video games and generally have a good report. What he does and says in the NBA forum that spawns this...abortion of a thread is his business (as well as everyone else in this thing).
If he has weak takes and is generally an asshole there, so be it. I wouldnt know as I avoid the NBA forum like the bubonic plague.

It would seem he isnt the most popular guy either, even with Kori pinking him once (or whatever). But he is the only other hockey fan on this forum who can walk and talk the game like I can (and DLF, for that matter, but hes a Michigan boy, thats to be expected). What he does and says to others is his business.
I have always and will always e-judge people on their own merits, when I e-speak with them. What the lemmings do for a cheap laugh is their business. My only hope is that the groupthink finds itself on a cliff face sooner rather than later and dies an inglorious death. But thats just me.

When arguing with CC in the political forum you can almost set your watch by CC asking if Jekka has left me yet. Yet, good luck finding a spot where I respond to that. CC's trolling fails.

The fanboy argument usually never lasts more than a post or two, because it's obvious that I have the ability to be unbiased in the things I say. Most people who call me fanboy do so because I've trolled them in the Geek Zone, and they actually get upset when talking about technology.
As far as the annular hurricane debate we had, I'd like to think there's a pretty large difference between rational, civilized discourse over a relatively academic subject (it's still a hurricane, regardless of the affixed moniker) and a group of people on the offensive for the sole purpose of demeaning the other person. This isn't of course to say the latter cannot be cleverly executed, but it got kind of boring around the 3rd page of the same thing, rehashed. It would probably be a hilarious trolling experience if we weren't just coming off the tailwind of about 400 threads about koriwhat where nearly the exact same thing happened.

One is discussing a product. The other is unabashedly ridiculing another person. I don't mind talking about tech, because it really, really doesn't ing matter in the grand scheme of things (lol iPhone). But your point is somewhat taken -- I do have a tendency to discuss things at length -- just not in mockery... although the z0sa argument I had many moons ago was definitely toeing the line.
