No I play at least twice a month and I know it's a sport....you?
Usually, a Golf athlete is a more of a man than a steel toe wearing guido who verbally abuses his gf over cold pizza.
No I play at least twice a month and I know it's a sport....you?
Or drives a PT Cruiser.
Balli needs to have the Pear of Anguish inserted into his urethra, opened, closed, and removed, followed by his being left in chains while immersed to the waist in sewage. The infection will do the rest.
"no I play at least twice a month"
What does no mean?
"No, I don't like Golf" ?
Did you read the sentence you quoted?
lolwut?
My point is I'd like to hear from the folks who've played golf and hear their opinion. Since it's so obvious you haven't.
Well that just seems overly dramatical.
Why do you feel like Elin deserves something other than contempt? Has she ever done anything to benefit you? Is there a reason you care about her?
The only thing she's ever done to me is hold her husband to a higher standard than she deserved and destroyed his professional career, which was the only thing of his, I ever cared about.
Really? Taking jump shots doesn't require physical exertion? How do you explain players talking about how tired their legs get at the end their 3 point shootout round. Just like jump shooting, taking a golf swing involves both your upper and lower body. It requires plenty of physical exertion, and it's something that tires out fat people a lot quicker than it tires out people who are in shape.
That is not true at all, and like most of the posts from complete non-golfers, is ignorant and asinine and illogical. But assuming it were remotely true:It takes more strength and stamina to be a carpenter than it does to be a golfer. Not to mention skill. Takes years of practice to be a good carpenter.
Maybe if the day comes when a bunch of carpenters develop a completely objective points-based system of quantifying the merits of their work. And then develop a rules based professional league to oversee compe ive events in which said objective points based system is used to rank various carpenters against one another. And then if a bunch of sporting goods companies start making table saws and sponsoring said compe ive events. And then if ESPN and Sports Illustrated covers it all. Then you might have something at least resembling a coherent argument, but not really. Until then, you should probably just STFU.
let me get this straight, you're saying Tiger Woods, someone with muscles coming out of his skin:
is less of an athlete than this fat piece of :
![]()
My only assertion was that you should suffer a horrific death through torture, which I described in graphic detail. It really has nothing to do with Elin Nordgeren.
Oh. Alright. And, likewise.
And furthermore, if these rules/points based, Nike sponsored carpentry compe ions incorporated a field of play, complete with out of bounds areas and lines of distinction between different-in bounds areas. And if they found a use for some sort of a ball. Then, even more so, you might have an even better POS argument, but still not really. It takes more strength and stamina to be a carpenter than it does to be a golfer. Not to mention skill. Takes years of practice to be a good carpenter.
The "anyone can play golf" lines are hilarious. I'm someone who was fat for most of my childhood, was never the most coordinated, athletic or flexible kid, was on my HS team and played a ton of golf, but even when I got really good around age 15, being fat as and just not being a natural athlete prevented me from playing well in high school tournaments. I would always start off extremely well and be even par (or sometimes better) after 4-6 holes, but eventually walking for several miles and muscle fatigue would kick in and I would have my "Blow up" hole, after which it just became about finishing the round. I had all the skill in the world that would make me look like a stud on the driving range or on the practice green, but being completely out of shape and having little to no natural athletic ability made it impossible for me to ever maximize all the skill I had and it led to me getting beat by guys who were nowhere near as fundamentally sound as I was but made it for it by being in better shape and just being better natural athletes.
Sorry about the rant and personal story, but I've played so much golf and and seen so many people use natural athleticism to be great golfers that the ignorant bull some people say pisses me off. Is golf as dependent on natural talent as basketball or football? no. Not by any stretch of the imagination, but just like any other "sport", being in shape, and being a natural athlete with great coordination and flexibility is extremely advantageous.
Even when people look at John Daley and say "If that fatass can be a good golfer, anyone can!" they don't recognize how much god given athletic talent he has. There aren't very many people as overweight as John Daley who also have the same huge amount of coordination and flexibility he has. Go watch him swing a golf club and ask yourself if you if the typical 300 pounder can contort his body with the ease Daley can. Daley woulda been one of the best golfers of all time if he actually stayed in shape and focused, the man was just so talented and freakish he could take such little care of his health and conditioning while still being a pro golfer.
lol balli got pwned
In other words, your problem was not having a golf cart.
That's easily solved.
I played plenty with a cart and my muscles still got fatigued quickly. Once again you're trying to talk about a sport I'm 100% sure you've never played, you should apologize IMO.
So you are a self-admitted weakling. What does that have to do with golf?
What I'm saying is, how does your anecdotal evidence prove anything? Especially if a 300 pound fatass like Daly proved everything you said has an opposing end of the spectrum?
If you think any of the ridiculous gibberish that MH vomited onto the screen came anywhere close to 'pwning' me or anyone else then you're vastly more re ed than even he is. Actually, you are anyway. Quit grasping at straws, I doubt even MH wants to be your friend.
What's that about pwnage again? You ass ignorant, made, man- s, no friends having got.Maybe if the day comes when a bunch of carpenters develop a completely objective points-based system of quantifying the merits of their work. It pwned you quite well. The bull reply you made is pretty stupid, too. MH didn't say carpentry was a sport, he said what you said qualifies it as one.
You're the one scrambling to explain your own words away now.
What's that about pwnage again? You ass ignorant, made, man- s, no friends having got.anger problems.
Hey re . I defined fitness. Not sports. Those 9 or however many categories I typed up, yeah, my near exact quote about them was: 'The Presidential Council on Fitness and Sport defines fitness to include the following factors.'
The reason I provided such a definition was to refute the notion that golf, as a sport, didn't require fitness or athleticism. Try to keep up, or read, ya ing moron.
It requires neither. Having some definitely helps, but it's not a requirement.
Now look at a sport like basketball where generally, only the utmost fitness is accepted.
You are a cancer of stupidity. On this board and in this world.
