Thoughts on the season finale?

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

*Spoilers*

I really liked that they really let Vince spiral out of control and let him jeopardize his career by fighting with Eminem, getting caught with coke and potentially ing up his career. It brings drama to Vince's life and everyone elses when previously there hasn't been and Vince usually catches breaks like at the end of season 5.

Good finale, decent season.

We've seen what Scorsese can do with a movie and only about 2 or 3 hours to work with.

I'm excited to see what he can do with an entire series on HBO to work with.

I actually felt bad for Vince when he was on the set of the gang bang photo shoot. He is trying to save his woman when she doesn't want saving. The Ari arc is interesting. All of this is more compelling than last season.
