Wow. That's just sad.
There might be some games juggled here or there, like NBA Fan Night on NBATV or whatever, but still...looks like it's cable or bust for Spurs fans. FSN better be on the ready, otherwise non-local fans are in for a long season.
I'm pretty sure that they have 6 TNT games (@DEN, @ORL, @DAL, @LAL, @CHI, v. BOS are all Thursday games against good teams) and 2 ABC Sunday games (v. LAL and v. PNX in March and April during Sunday afternoons), to go along with many ESPN games.
I don't think that schedule is much more than about 2/3 complete.
They don't seem to have filled out all of the doubleheaders for TNT Thursday, ESPN Friday, and ABC Sunday. Unless those networks have decided to cut back their telecasts - which I severely doubt.
Just my guess. TNT still has Thursday games and, curiously, all of those games for the Spurs are exactly the sort of games against good teams that usually are broadcast on TNT.
My hunch is that the national TV schedule in the link is incomplete, given that it has a lot of Thursdays for TNT with only one game.
You can't convince me that the Lakers are playing a 2:30 game on a Sunday in March and that ABC isn't broadcasting it.
Thanks GOD !
I'm tired of all the " Never write them off; they are experienced, and could beat the Lakers " from ABC, Barkley and Co
Then a few months later, sesaon over
I hope your right. Austin gets blacked out for most of the games on NBALP, so we're pretty much stuck relying on whatever is picked up by FSN, TNT, ESPN, ABC, and NBATV. Our local affiliate (KNVA/KBVO) will pick up local games once in a blue moon, but it's hardly been reliable.
FWD is (as always) right.
This list is incomplete. For example, the games against Lakers or Suns on Sundays are on abc.

Thank y'all for assuaging my angst!
Serious question here.
I live in Ft. Worth and subscribe to NBA League Pass on DirecTV. I want to switch to ATT Uverse to get a package deal for phone, internet, TV but I know they don't have anything comperable to League Pass. It seems like Fox sports broadcast most of the Spurs games. Anyone with any knowledge here know how many games I would miss by switching?
By the way, the Spurs also have at least 7 national games on ESPN -- and ESPN's schedule appears (at this point anyway) to be incomplete:
Nov. 10 v. LAC
Nov. 17 v. CHI
Jan. 14 v. DAL
Jan. 26 at UTH
Feb. 23 v. OKC
Mar. 4 v. MIA
Mar. 23 at DEN
So, that means at least 15 national games.
JMcDonald_SAEN
Including NBA TV appearances, #spurs will be on national TV 22 times this season.
Here is the list of national Spurs TV games:
Nov 8th @ Charlotte NBATV
Nov 10th vs Clippers ESPN
Nov 17th vs Chicago ESPN
Nov 22nd vs Orlando NBATV
Dec 1st @Clippers NBATV
Dec 16th @Denver TNT
Dec 23rd @Orlando TNT
Dec 30th @Dallas TNT
Jan 14th vs Dallas ESPN
Jan 16th vs Denver ESPN
Jan 26th @Utah ESPN
Feb 3rd @Lakers TNT
Feb 14th @Nets NBATV
Feb 17th @Chicago TNT
Feb 23rd vs Thunder ESPN
Mar 4th vs Miami ESPN
Mar 6th vs Lakers ABC
Mar 14th @Miami ESPN
Mar 23rd @Denver ESPN
Mar 31st vs Boston TNT
Apr 3rd vs Phoenix ABC
Apr 9th vs Utah NBATV
Apr 12th @Lakers TNT
Thx for the list Bruno
Two televised games against the Clippers and only one against Boston? Well hopefully Blake Griffin turns the Clippers into a decent team.
well it's not like they earned it. they haven't won in 3 years, they're not up and coming, they got 7th seed last year, no really marketable players, "boring" style of play... it's sad but ya gotta come to terms with it
lolz.Well better for me then!! since im recording majority of the spurs highlights, it would take the compe ion off my back for more views! (:

Must've just been you
Uh, true in part. But the Spurs remain one of the better teams in the league -- if only by being capable of winning 50+ games -- and their matchups with the teams that are elite, the teams that are up-and-coming, the teams with more marketable players, and the teams that play flashier games are still relevant to deciding the seeding in the West.
The nationally televised games do still involve 2 teams.
Can we sticky this or make it it's own thread?
only 2 Dallas games???
1 Suns game??
not true for Time Warner Cable at least. They will tell you they black out but they don't. Same for NBA TV.
The only games not available on NBALP are those carried by national or regional (FSNSW) TV, where NBA TV counts as national TV.
Was true in the past, but last season KBVO carried almost all of the Spurs games that weren't national or regional, and KXAN (I believe) carried the rest. I think I missed seeing only like 2 or 3 Spurs games on my TWC in Austin. So I did not purchase NBALP last season, didn't seem worth it to pick up those 2-3 extra games.so we're pretty much stuck relying on whatever is picked up by FSN, TNT, ESPN, ABC, and NBATV. Our local affiliate (KNVA/KBVO) will pick up local games once in a blue moon, but it's hardly been reliable.
My only beef with KBVO is that they did not pick up the HD feeds from San Antonio.
You'll miss in the range of 20ish games that are not on FSNSW but only carried on local San Antonio TV.
If you really want to know just go to spurs.com and look at last year's TV schedule.
