Is this serious BR? I can never tell with you. If so...everything you showed is worthless. Just a bunch of common base cards that would be better served in the recycle bin. If it doesn't have an autograph or piece of game worn uniform on it, it's pretty much worthless.

I've been in the hobby for almost 24 years. If you're not spending $200-$500 on each pack or box, don't waste your time.

This is probably my next most valuable basketball card. I bought a box of 81 Topps 25 years ago for maybe $10-$15, and got a few of these.

This cracks me up. Some ing jerkoff on ebay is trying to pass this off as a Jordan rookie:

Topps never made basketball cards in the mid 80s, and the only cards considered Jordan rookies are the 86 Fleer and 85 Star cards. That card above is a rip off of the 1984 Topps baseball design

BB, my favorite card from your collection is the McInnis-Duncan-Artest card.

...And you probably could sell it on ebay

I love old baseball cards. The other night I was scouring the internet for an archive of old baseball cards but I couldn't find much beyond websites that were selling them. Anyone know of any good sites just for looking at any random baseball card from the past?

I can't believe there's not an iPhone app yet. Topps could make a killing. The iPhone is the perfect size for digital baseball cards.*

Too bad cards aren't worth anymore, with the exception of a very few rookies. I had this Skybox David Robinson promo I picked up the year the national card show was in Arlington that I figured would be worth something (I think that was the only place it was ever distributed and was the very first Skybox card ever released), and come to find out it was selling on eBay for like $12. For my money, this is still the coolest card ever though:

Ah yes, the famous Bill Ripken FF card.

There's a guy out there who has devoted a substantial amount of time to that card: http://billripken.com/versions/index.html

Who remembers Donruss Diamond Kings cards in the 80's? I loved those cards... Especially the crazy backgrounds, which are now unintentionally funny but were legitimately cool when I was 10.

They ruined them in 1992 when they went to premium-only.

I always thought it was interesting to see who they would put on those cards to avoid duplication of the previous year's Diamond King for each team. There ended up being some pretty sad "Diamond Kings" for teams after a few years, back when player movement was a bit more limited.

For instance, the White Sox first few Diamond Kings were Carlton Fisk (OK), Britt Burns, Ron Kittle (ROY, but a one-hit wonder), Richard Dotson, Harold Baines (OK), and Greg Walker. Not exactly baseball royalty.

LOL. I think I have every version of that card. Another favorite was when Fleer put Bob Brower (white guy) on the card for Jerry Browne (black guy). That error card was hot for a while, but pretty much every collector thought Fleer was doing the 'error cards' on purpose by the time the Ripken card came out.
