I dont think its that way around here, but Im too old to know (or care) these days. You have to remember, that story is from 11-12 years ago.
It was a different time and I was a much younger and more brash person. I had nothing to lose, whereas today I have entirely too much to lose for some false bravado.

To this day, when guys I graduated with see me, another old story comes out about one crazy, brainless, death-defying night in Cancun. Choked a bus driver while he was driving and nearly killed everyone on the bus. Good times.

indeed. About the craziest thing I've done of this nature is simple drunk bar brawling; tactical retaliation at a kegger and the sheer unabashed disregard for human life involved in choking a bus driver makes that sound rather tame.
Like I said, much much younger. I partied like a rockstar from the age of 12 to 21. I slowed waaaaaaay down before the age of 22.
While some people were hitting the bar every weekend and drinking their faces off, I was out making money and building a business. I had been there, done that (albeit not at a bar) and I was done with it long before what people would consider their "prime".

What a bunch of dumbasses. If I was in that situation, no doubt I would drive off. But if I got caught at a red light or something and there was no way I could run it (say lots of traffic leaving no opening or something), then no doubt a couple of those assholes are catching hollow-points to the chest, as is anyone else who isn't running away full speed.

It's not like you can ask the perp to hold off on what he is doing so that you can wait for the police.
Are you legally allowed to run them down with your car in that situation?
If they are all over the car and in the way, I think it's legal if the one behind the wheel is trying to escape danger. I don't think he could drive down the street then turn around and run them down, though.
Of course, but many of the rumbles here don't seem to be spur of the moment fighting for your life stuff.
