If Toronto Raptors fans were put off by the way that former All-Star Chris Bosh played with their emotions this summer, apparently that was his intent.
In an interview with the New York Daily News, Bosh admitted that he became tired of constantly facing questions as to where he intended to play this upcoming season, and decided to have some fun with the fans.
"If you think about how many times somebody asks you, 'How are you,' that's how many times I was asked, 'Where you going?'" Bosh told the Daily News on Wednesday. "So it's like, well, in my case, I'm going to have fun with it. I'm going to play with people's emotions. I'm going to be high and low."
Raptors fans became increasingly frustrated as Bosh sent out several mixed-messages on his personal Twitter account including asking the general public where they believed that he should play this season. Bosh of course eventually revealed that he would join Dwyane Wade and LeBron James in Miami to play with the Heat.
"I wouldn't call it a game because it's serious, but, I mean, it's entertainment at the end of the day. It's the truth," Bosh told the Daily News. "We're entertaining and everything but at the same time I'm just getting my feelings out there.
"It's entertaining to see people react to your real emotions because if it wasn't fun I wouldn't do it."
This admission will likely add fuel to the fire of an already irate Raptors' fan base who are eagerly anticipating their former franchise player's return to Toronto with his new team on February 16th 2011.

If you feel the need to play with the emotions of others just because their interest bothers you, you're not a professional anything.

So Chris Bosh is a troll like a lot of the people around here?

He's definitely been handling things ty but so has the Craptor franchise/fanbase especially Colangelo who seems arguably worse than Kahn (BC came into a much better situation and so far has made it worse) and also took a page out of the Dan Gilbert school by trashing Bosh publicly. That franchise needs a lot of work, wtf have they been doing in the past few years. Even god damn Hedo Turkologu took his shot against 'em.

Bosh has the same problem as Lebron and Tmac...they are more interested in being famous than winning basketball games.

I never got the 'I just want to be famous' vibe from T-Mac. I got the 'I am frustrated because my team stinks, therefore I quit' vibe from him, but I got that from Kobe circa 2007 and LeBron circa 2010 too and of course Boozer circa his WCF appearance... Not to mention Alonzo Mourning in his Nets stint and Vince Carter at the end of his Raptors stint...

I do get the 'I just want to be famous' vibe from Iverson, and I have seen some of it from LeBron before this past season... But before the 09 10 season, LeBron played his ass off, and never 'gave up'.

T-Mac cares. He tries, until he sees no point. Is he the ultimate winner? Perhaps not.

In other words, you can call T-Mac a quitter, but you can't say all he cares about is fame...

agreed. But I honestly didn't get that vibe from Iverson either. AI put his body on the line every night for the W. I think he was extremely selfish--and probably thought he had to be with the lack of offensive firepower on those sixers' teams--but he definitely wanted the W more than anything else IMO.

If anyone cares about Bosh being a bag, they really need to let it go. Before I thought he was one, but then I thought this guy hasn't won and least with Lebron and Wade they actually won things like MVP and a finals. Bosh hasn't won so no need to care about him at all

How many playoff series did Bosh win as the franchise player for the Craptors? How many times did they go to the playoffs? Bosh is a y overrated pussy. I hope his threesome with Wade and Lebron fails miserably and destroys all of their careers and reputations.

if my memory serves well, the Mavs have only won ONE series in playoffs since their dramatic choking job in 06 finals, where they choked away the golden cup they could have easily obtained. Beating the Spurs in 09 playoffs was quite a joy enough to enrapture your entire fan base, despite that Spurs had been badly plagued with injuries throughout that season.

umm... man, playing for a canadian team is no way nearly as much of a shame as lodging in somewhere you don't belong to. expatriate gots...

Comparing a team that has only won 1 playoff series in its history to a team that has been to the Finals is pretty weak and lame. I know the point of the comparison was to bash the Mavs but there was hardly any effort. Put some effort into it next time and be witty about it. Comparing the Raptors to the Mavs is like comparing Michael Finley to Michael Jordan.
Bosh wasn't good enough to make the Raptors a contender in the East. It's his fault that they sucked ass and he pussied out when they needed him the most last season.
